But, I think Assassin and Ninja are good with the shotgun. I use the specialist strike package almost exclusively. So I like the ninja/sit rep combo and I don't use SOH until the 4th kill when I need it.

I was playing at my friend's yesterday, sniping with a silencer and I was telling him this, right when I said you can't panic when people are up in your face, someone popped up and I quickscoped him with the silencer. Just stay Zen :)

Wow Spectre, how did you manage to conjure up enough paitience to use the 1887 long enough to get the damage proficiency?! :) Any ideas yet whats best (for all shotguns) regarding ADS or hipfire? In the vid you seem to be hipfiring much more but I know the stakeout in Black Ops was more effective when ADS. Great vid by the way.

With my set up I feel confident. Extreme conditioning to start the match helps set you up to get into their spawn fast while assassin helps you through the match, stalker to strafe when you don't get the one hit kill. Unlocking steady aim as your first spec perk goes great with extreme conditioning, SOH is self explanatory but I choose to put it at 4 because its usually when I need to reload. I mix and match the 3rd spec perk depending on the map but it's usually quickdraw for the fast ads

@FrogDaBarber They are weak until you get damage. It's a long hard road though dude. That's why I say "pay your dues" You'll get so many bullshit deaths on the way to glory.
There are 3 things that I also do when using my shotties. (might seem unimportant, but when using the pumpaction its a must)
1.) pre-looking with the crosshairs. especially when goin corners. VERY important, when using pumpaction. And with mapexpierence, I know exactly where the next enemy will pop up!
2.) It did wonders, when I turned down the sensitivity a lot. ^^ I never go over 3... and with the Modell I even use 2, need to be deadly accurate... and damn that thing becomes a killer then
Spectre, what did you set your left and right paddle config for your scufs? I'm thinking left paddle might be good for B prone (dropshots), and right paddle for Y weapon swap (YY reload cancel). Although right paddle as A might be better for Gears. Wish there was an on-controller switch. :\ Also, did you include domed left or right sticks?
@thermalrat I chose the default so I'm not sure what it is. I think the left is jump and right is B. The knife is already fast to push so I didn't need it on the underside. Also, I do not like domed sticks. I use the fps freeks as well. they are concave.
I've been trying to get ext mag and damage for the ksg-12 but omg so inconsistent. I might try the spas or the aa-12 instead already got the striker done and got the 1k kills emblem with it and gold camo. Makes me sad that the striker might get destroyed in the nerf... but if that's the case I'll just use what I pick up from you and the other commentators that use shotguns.

The "hold trigger " technique caught me by surprise one time.. Did it by accident and was surprised how much faster it seemed! Great tips.. You didn't miss anything!
@McCartyCreative I forgot to mention ambushing, when you know someone is chasing you, and you just wait for them right around the corner :) but I'll be making more of these. It's so fun to use.

@JPESQUIRE3 I did a short test in a private match. It seems that it's a tighter group when you ADS. That is why I use stalker instead of steady aim

ive been using the usas12 a lot, just treating it as if it is semi auto, i can say, its pretty darn underrated, even without range or ext. mags
just run brokimbo scorpions for that extra range, you can snipe kids with that , its awsome
