We need:

1. More individual responsibility over health costs.

2. We need more choices in the private sector outside of employers and government.

3. We need options for checkup and catastrophic only plans.

4. We need government only to keep the field fair but to stay out of the game.

Politicians not including themselves tells you all you need to know.

I'm going to steal that - and try to use it - when my elected rep holds her TELEPHONE townhall on Monday. My rep, Susan Davis of California, is scared to meet with her consitutents and is having a telephone townhall so she can pick and choose who is granted an audience with her.
