Seriously? He is everything at 1.FC Köln but not average. He is captain, fan favourite and one of the four, probably the most dominant player of last season. Fights for every ball,defense tacklings,creates situations, scored 13 and assisted 7 (out of just 47 the team scored the whole season!) without being a centre forward. His shooting skills and offensive mind have no match in the Bundesliga.

Kicker magazine just voted him as No. 6 striker in BL before Claudio Pizarro and Raul.

Ok, you are right with that. At Bayern many strong players failed because of pressure and missing trust and time (Karimi, Deisler, Rensing, Santa Cruz.....). In the last two years Podolski matured very much as a leader. Looking at that and at his skills he could have a place in nearly every squad.

But I´m happy we got him back in 2009 and hope we can hold him for at least the next 10 years :D
