I have to admit I'm liking this song.

The problem with the themes of characters like Chun Li and Ryu is that they are remixed and remixed until you're out of the best options and reusing an older version comes off as lazy.

Perhaps they should give this one a go for Chun Li's next theme remix: Her SF2 one needs a breather.

But the dudes who made arrangements for EX's songs came from Namco.

All this meant to me is that Capcom just can't make high quality, memorable music for their games anymore. Since Zero/Alpha 3. it's all about repetitive techno/pop music for almost all characters present.

ARIKA owns rights for all this music and I doubt they'd give them to Capcom. I know I wouldn't; they'd just fuck it up with remixes like they did with SFIV and 3rdST Online.

My God... It's been such a long time since I last herd this. The EX series does have the best music in the Street Fighter series.The only series that even comes close is of course 3rd Strike and The Orginal Street Fighter II soundtrack on either the Arcade or SNES. Please remix for the next Street Fighter. Take a damn break from remixing these damn Street Fighter II themes that we've been hearing for the last 20 Years. It would be awesome to hear these Gone but Not Forggtton EX themes. :D

I'm pretty sure most everything resulting from this series was buried after EX3 was finished. It's too bad, really. Arika had some solid ideas design-wise, but didn't have the talent to put it together.

Lovely soundtrack, really gets you pumping, that's what I like about all the older SF games, some of the tracks make you play better, like when I played Guile stage, I always played better becuase the music was so class.

Its like Rocky IV music, you can't not listen to that and want to go running, or become some hard ass boxer, at least until you realise you're unfit and can't fight!

i agree, but 70% of the music in sf2 is better. cammy's stage, ryu's, ken's, guile's, balrog's, bison's from sf2 are all better in my opinion. this song is better than all the others in that game though and better than any other sf game piece of music (which is a LOT!)

Considering that Chun-Li opened a dojo to train children, I hope this isnt the Chun-Li's end as a fighter. I believe that she has a defiant future and too many rivals for winning (a very strong and fast woman who has defeated her enemies including supernatural things that everybody cant even begin to imagine). At least, she achieved something that she proposed to herself: being the strongest woman in the world and avenging the death of her father) and also, she is still very young.

She is almost a superhero. Its impressive how Chun-Li has had a magnificent life and has achieved everything what she wishes without being rich. I believe that she understood well the morality of her father that ironically she transmits to us. She is the best friend that everybody wanted to have: a healthy woman (with strong body and legs with an exotic costume) and a smart detective. Long live Chun-Li!!!
