...i just wanna say thanks for uploading this song..there are times when becoming smitten by someone's smile at first sight just simply cannot be put in words and this does an attempt..song is good enough for me
I'd rather use an annotation than have to answer every person who asks what happened to the real music video. If you don't like them, feel free to not use them in your own videos. Just leave my videos be.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Annotations detract from the artistic beauty of the video. Just put the information in the description. It's the same nonsense that killed MTV with it's annoying popup information.
There is no artistic beauty to this video. It's merely album art with a song playing in the background. People don't need to watch it to appreciate its purpose. I doubt the annotation will distract the listeners from the beauty of the music.
@IndigoScimitar The annotation doesn't bother me. I am here because the sound is better than the others. Sometimes one jusy wants to listen to the studio version...without the video. Thanks for uploading, IndigoScimitar !!
that was a particular show called Pop-Up Video, i thought it was neat, the little bits of info they'd give. if you didn't like it you shouldn't have watched it, it was VH1 that did it tho
i love the same guitar chords that are being played after he says "someone to dance with." that part is what always get me excited about this song. :D
When the hell did this song come out, fuck it - Beatles - or am I wrong? Plus, what the fuck robteasley? Your Romanov family got shot off in 1917-1918. How about the Rothschild familia, they're still up to speed, no? Very old money. Plus, I think they have roots in russia, probably from england - who gives a fuck - they're still rich bitches!!
I know how you feel ... only I'm the SHE. If I didn't know better, I'd swear this song was about me and a friend-guy from college. It's the story of our relationship.
This was a great album from one of Sean Penn's lesser-known brothers, who is married to singer/songwriter Aimee Mann. Michael turned out a great bunch of songs on this album, and I wonder where he is now. Good stuff!
This is another song that I didn't hear enough of way back when, so it just floated around in my memory as a song I really like, but never really connected with. Now it's kind of nice to be rediscovering it.
Hey, Tsarina, it is a great acoustic rock song! On a side note, it is tragic what happened to the Romanov family on that tragic day... even Baba Yaga herself would not have cursed Russia that way-still recovering 90 years later. Such a great people will soon prevail!
Everytime they delete a video I like, I think it's a good thing. Makes me realize the song/video I'm watching is considered valuable to the powers above lol.
For Nuron666: I like the rhythm and clever lyrics of this song. Some of the guitarwork reminds me of The Byrds...maybe a bit of George Harrison, as well.
He's still making music; released an album on his own label 3 years ago, a compilation came out last year and he's been writing scores and playing with other musicians. I think he's married to Aimee Mann, formerly of 'Til Tuesday.
The anthem for those rare "what might have been" encounters--- You meet someone on the train, in a club or at an airport; You share a ride, a dance or a chat. A brief exchange, yet a bizarre soul connection. Then you part... never to meet again.
It was nothing.
It was everything.
And you remember that person for the rest of your life.
