I don't like talkin about this but, the bite force doesn't depend on a breed it depends on the dog, and true in general a rott would have a stronger bite force than a pit but pitbulls are way faster and have a higher level of gameness
los dos estan bellos y preciosos!!!!!!!!!!!! mi novio tiene un Rottweiler porque aqui en Puerto Rico los Pitbulls son ilegales y no queremos correr el riesgo de que el gobierno lo envien a dormir de por vida.
just because they have a stronger bite force dont mean they are stronger. i knew this guy who had a german shepard and some guys pit got out tore the shepard apart and also shepards have a stronger bite force than pits
This is horrible. This is why these dogs have such bad reputations because ignorant people like you let them learn to fight at a young age! You're a discrase!
seriously ppl go too far with this dog fighting thing. jus becuz the pups r trying to have a lil fun u gotta say shit like that. their still dogs remember canines, related to wolves, their carnivors they will always be some wat agressive at time. but a loving family member too
There is no such breed as the 'american' pit bull terrier. It is not a recognised breed by the 'american' kennel club. Therefore as there is no standardisation and conformity just a backyard breeder attitude on what they think is right there is no such breed. The 'american' club does however recognise a breed called the 'american' staffordshire terrier. The "pit" is just an attempt to resurrect the originally bigger staffie fighting dog of the past from staffordshire, ENGLAND!! not fuckin USA
ok then please explain to me the difference between a "pit bull terrier" and a "staffie"? Oh and mention the recognised kennel club that supports the differences!?
@IMOZZA Lol, you don't know shyte. The fact that the AKC hasn't recognized the apbt but double registers them as such with the UKC, makes for both those clubs to be insignificant to the dogworld. Those clubs can only recognize a breed by pedigree, since they are to uncapable of recognizing a purebred dog without a pedigree. The apbt has been recognized by the ADBA/AADR/BFKC/SDR/GDBR etc. etc., ofcourse you wouldn't know since your not far enough into the game-dog world, likely not even at all.
@IMOZZA Also the pit wasn't created in England, it was created in the USA by Irish dogmen who brought over their old english bulldog and old english white terrier mixes to the US and perfected the dog we now know as the apbt. I don't agree with the name apbt either, I'd rather have it called the Irish pitbull terrier. The amstaff is a totally different breed which has the scottish fighting dog Blue Paul mixed into it, therefore you will never find a purebred blue gamedog.
yo tengo 2 pits jejeje como los adoro esa raza tan mas chignona !!!!!

AKC and UKC are the biggest kennel clubs and UKC does recognize the pit bull as a breed.
