Risk is a cool game to play. I suggest you fond some people to play it with and buy a regular version. unfortauntely they replaced all the soldier, horseman, and cannon pieces with stupid painted wood squares. regardless, it's a pretty intense game that can last for days with some good players

The 2,014 is the year MGS takes place. There are 2014 copies of the limited edition. I got to play this at GenCon 2011, and I got one of these awesome copies. It'll be here tomorrow. :D So much fun! Enjoy.
What's the difference between this version and the collectors edition? Is it just the art on the box? Congrats on snagging it, seems like it's gonna be a really valuable asset down the line if things get dire.
Very nice collectors piece. MGS HD Collection isnt out till 3rd February 2012 in the UK/Europe which is fine by me because the markets crowded with games right now, cant wait to play Peace Walker with decent controls as its one of the best MGS games imo.

Whoa, that has to be one of the best board game boxes I've seen. However, don't bother opening it since RISK sucks anyways. Actually, that's just my personal taste. Tried playing the Halo edition of RISK and it was pretty boring.
@JerryTerrifying Agreed. It didn't even feature MGS1, which is arguably the best one in the franchise. Without playing MGS1 you can't fully appreciate MGS4.
Yeah, it was on PS1, so making it in HD would basically mean writing a new game from scratch, BUT, they already DID that, they completely remade it for a Gamecube system, why not port that?!
Buying that collection is like buying a soundtrack for "N" game, which does not contain catchy Main Theme Song, with DRM s-it.
@funky3ddy Well honestly I don't mind it not having MGS1 or TTS. I like the original MUCH more than TTS...they removed some of the best lines from the game. I blieve in Europe HD collection for the ps3 came with a voucher to get MGS off the PSN.
I will get the 360 and ps3 versions of HD collection because I have a complete collection...and I do want to play MGS2 in Wide screen. I've always hated the motion blur in MGS 2 so I hope that's not present in the HD collection.
