Hi, could you help me? I followed your tutorial to the letter, but I can not install the terminal emulator, tells me (Unsuccessfull Install Application) I can not load the update on the fastboot. I spent the day looking for the solution and can not find it, I can do?

not sure how this is supposed to work really.... i downloaded the zip file but there is 3 subfolders i placed the whole zip file on my sd card and followed instructions and it said no system found aborting update.....

ok idk wat i did wrong. i added the file to my f drive (the phone) when i shut the phone off the reboot screen never came on -=[.... the symbol wit the phone and the triangle popped up. so i pressed alt + w anyways and it wiped the phone.. i rebooted it again home+ power off... and the same symbol came up. why didnt it work. i rooted the phone by myself. also, im trying to put froyo into my phone and all the videos ive seen are so flippin confusing HELPPPP

that app wa designed for users who want to manage applications that require super user permissions. when you don't have any running apps that require su, then you'll get a blank screen.

The ADP is for developers ( Adroid Developer Phone.) The ADP version lacks some of the native applications that come with the build. like AMAZON, and MYFAV, along with other features. Whereas the US version, includes those apps.

yes, once you downgrade you'll need the unlock codes from which ever carrier youre using and/ or T-mobile before you can proceed with the video. I'm not too savvy when it comes to "unlocking" but i'm sure if you look around on youtube or over at xda forums you'll find what you're looking for.

Also, if one roots or jailbreaks the G1, you can install the Hero OS, like I did!

Thank you for this compliment, probably the nicest yet, and ones like yours make it worth it. ... As for your question! Swapping sd cards will not effect your having root. All you have to do is copy and save all the info from your old sd card to your new one!

@ qr416 yes...If you watch his other video on jailbreaking your G1 he has a link to RC33 (for U.S. users). flash that update to your phone and it may take a few days but you'll get the OTA update to 1.5.

BAT, more people BRICK thier phones trying to flash themes than any other reason. In order to get your phone back in working condition you'll need to remove your sd card, and place it into another device so that you can delete the theme. Then, put the cupcake file on your sd card, rename it update. Put the SD card back into your phone, press home and power.... ALT W, ALT S, and your phone should be back to normal.
