somebody please help! my ipod went into safe mode today (ipod 4th gen 4.1 32 gb) yes jailbroken. and i couldnt get out of safe mod no matter what so i went to settings and hit restart all and now it stays at apple logo screen for hours i tryed home sleep button everything somebody PLEASE HELP!

@xDinosaursGoTylerx what i did was get my laptop rebooted it and jsut as the apple logo came out i quickly plugged it in and itunes reconised it, message me if there is any other problems

@ChazHaz006 FIRST make sure you have everything saved to itunes, next go to settings on ipod then go to general then reset everything, NOW when all that is dont (bout five mins) go to i tunes and give it a name and all that, last click restore then wait about 10 mins and it will do everything for you (last part on pc)

i jailbroke my 2g ipod touch a couple of years ago. today i tried to reset and it is stuck on the apple logo with the spinny circle in the logo. the spinny isnt spinning and when i try to put it in dfu mode it just goes right back to the apple logo. help?

@JazzyPhil59 what i did was i held the power button and home button till it shut off then you hold down the home button until you see the usb cable connect to itunes then push restore one itunes and follow directions from there

Ok if someone could help me, that would be great. So, I backed up my iPod Touch before I downgraded it to 3.1.2 Firmware. I had lost everything (except for music). Then I jailbroke the Ipod Touch with blackra1n. So I'm wondering if I can get all of my apps and videos and other stuff back from before when I had 3.1.3 Firmware. hmm, well if u never synced ur ipod touch onto ur computer, then ur screwed with the apps and music. but if u did sync ur songs and apps with ur new computer, just try resyncing. u may not hav all ur songs but u just might get ur apps back. but only if u synced it b4 on ur new computer

if you restore you ipod it deletes everything.... thats why its called restore(it restores the ipod to factory settings) so if you restored it then you got all ur stuff deleted.

lol happened same to me just 5 mins ago just connect to your computer and open itunes , it will say ipod in recovery mode detected it will ask you if you want to restore it shift click that and choose the firmware and you're done :p

hey man i had the exact same problem and almost had a heart attack what you do is turn off the ipod plug it into your computer open itunes and hold down the home button(keep holding it) and then turn on your ipod(while still holding down the home button) itunes should detect your ipod and then you go through this long ass restore process and it should work
