The best recording is by the Dallas Wind Orchestra - absolutely outstanding! The title of the CD is 'Arnold For Band' under the direction of Jerry Junkin from Reference Recordings.
prelude is good, but only like 4 measures of keyboard parts, which is lame....siciliano is pretty but I suck at learning 4 mallet parts....rondo....is....AWESOME :D
This is an amazing recording. Japanese bands are awesome!! ありがとうございます 東京 こせい wind orchestra!!! I love the siciliano the most. It's such a moving song. Yeah bass clarinets!
a billion times better recording than anything on youtube also siciliano is soooooooooo beast! that trumpet part just gives me shivers whenever i hear the beginning and i love things in 6/8 time
I could listen to Siciliano over and over again without getting sick of it. We're playing this in band class right now, and every time I hear this part it lifts my mood completely. It's so lovely.
oh my god i love Siciliano so much

Beautiful. This gave me some insight as to how a band should play this piece.

This is the exact same recording I have (it is distinguished by the cough at 3:43), but the CD info says it was a recording of BYU's wind ensemble.

@Sick0Fant
The cough is cued in the score! It was composed when Malcolm Arnold was suffering from a bad cold.
Yes, I'm just kidding. :)

I love this. My band camp band did this, too. In my opinion, I'm not used to Siciliano going that fast. But everything else is fantastic.

My band is playing this song this year at FBA. I love all three movements. Great sounding band by the way.
