  • Guys,You should watch this movie with japanese guys :) .

  • Usagi Yojimbo, anyone?

  • 0:45-1:51 favorite part :)

  • Bad. Ass.

  • Swagger forever.

  • One of my very favorite Satoh compositions... his work on Godzilla is as wonderful

  • Make that two, no....three likes!

  • You guys have such cute faces...

  • @grubaryba2 I believe that Toshirō Mifune (who played the main character in this) played a similar character (bodyguard) in Zatoichi as a nod back to this movie

  • I heard a song eerily similar to this in the show "Samurai Jack."

  • @Slashbash You hear it right, indeed there's one episode from Samurai Jack whose soundtrack is based in this movie: "Jack versus Demongo, the Soul Collector"

  • @Ze0do0Gas Yup, as well asthe beginning of Jack and the Scotsman.

  • @Slashbash That I don't remember but you're probably right:)

  • @Ze0do0Gas And I remember the song being really catchy too.

  • i 2nd that emotion!!!!

  • really catchy

  • Adapted from Franz Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody #2 in c# minor

  • Any chance we could get some more tracks? Great soundtrack!!!!

  • Quentin Tarantino should use this in his next film!

  • @ACruelPicture I say Spike Lee. He has good art direction. Like his camera tricks can be usefull for the movie...Unless you have them both do it.

  • this movie is the second best after the seven samurai!

  • Really great movie good sequel too

  • Mifune's swagger and mannerisms as Sanjuro are amazing, totally fits this tune.

  • "Abayo"

  • The guy with sword SANJURO looks like bodyguard from Zatoichi and guy with gun like yojimbo from Tenchu 3(ps2/xbox)in mission one ^ ^

  • The most beautiful looking guy I ever seen!!

  • Never before, has a theme embodied the very essence of badasssery.

  • @jodahs you nailed it

  • Mifune had that pimp-walk that Eastwood just couldn't replicate.

  • @MrLunitunz Or emulate..

  • You have no idea how long I've been looking for this. THANK YOU.

  • mifune and nakadai, the 2 greatest

  • Best samurai movie in my book; not even anime is considered better than this.

  • @MadManX429 they might, but its called A Fistful of Dollars,

  • The end of Sanjuro was great with the sad music of yojimbo leaving, then he threatens them for following him and his theme plays.

That ruined it for me by making it better since I wanted more even more.

  • 0:45 Cue swaggering

  • There is a scene in this movie, when Mifune is walking over to administer the slice up on those three thugs, (I think) and the music is the main theme played on Baritone sax. Its like 10-15 seconds of sheer awesomeness.

  • Just fantastic, so innovative and powerful- Morricone must have heard this

  • Legend...

  • This was the guy that originated all those tough guys of Hollywood like The Man with no Name, Dirty Harry to name a few.

  • Yojimbo; whatta classic. Tatsuya Nakadai is my all-time favorite villian actor. He's so scary. Masahiro Shinoda's 'Samurai Spy' also has a hip 60's soundtrack. Very chic.

  • Watched this on AMC last night again. Forgot how awesome the soundtrack is. :)

  • This is a movie I'll watch, the reason being this awesome sountrack alone.

  • this movie is awesome and too under appreciated!

  • @suttbuttwhat

I've seen Yojimbo and Sanjuro. Such perfectly bad ass movies.

  • I'll be damned if this isn't one of the catchiest movie themes ever. The main melody is so fitting and sets the mood for Sanjuro's character so well.

  • @TheouAegis Especially when he walks away casually twitching off the fleas ! A disconnected but very well integrated ronan.
