My favorite moment is at 1:01 when the two guys look at each other and smile. It reminds me of the spoof in the movie "AIRPLANE" when the stewardess is singing and the two bald hari-krishna guys do the same look/smile.
I love how we never find out what country she is actually from, and she had no accent! Very PC of the show at the time. And NO, their concerts could not have been just one song, it just is edited that way. Fantastic song, by the way.
Pilot episode they played Vegas, and then every future episode they ended up in small little clubs. I did love this show, along with the Brady Bunch on Friday nights. The music still plays in my car on my 8-track.....whoops, on my CD even today.
I love this song--I remember when I first got into PF and David, I was in college and I remember I had this playing in my car one day and I realized I knew all the background harmony, lol. David was so awesome.
LOL Well, if you look closely, she's also wearing a necklace when she's beside the younger guy that she isn't when she's beside the older guy. Maybe the younger guy gave her the necklace to sit next to him. Okay, I'm over-analyzing this WAY too much...
My favorite song of all time by the greatest songwriter of all time.........Tony Romeo. Try to get a chance and listen to some of his other PF songs like "Summer Days", "I'll Never Get Over You" and of course "I Think I Love You"
I can remember seeing this on an ep of the Partridge Famiyl where they went on vacation and this was set to a slideshow of photos... anyone remember that?
I'm not worried what the plot was. All I know is that I wanted to be Season Hubley in the 70's and to be paired with David Cassidy was a match made in heaven!
The girl (Season Hubley?) was a princess that Keith was set up on a blind date with by Rueben..Keith shows her what a normal dating life would be like...sneaking away from the princesses minders for a normal date.
They also play a little bit of the song as the princess is leaving on a plane at the end of the episode. That's the part I remember after all these (over 35!) years.
@1:21 Killer riff....Danny is still performing these fake Bass Riffs today although sadly not in public

I always thought it was strange that their concerts were always only one song.
imkluu 1 year ago
@imkluu LOL, I think 1 song per episode is all any TV audience wanted to hear. Otherwise, there wouldn't be room for a plot! :)

The woman in the white dress at :31 is sitting beside an older guy. But at 1:03 she's suddenly next to a younger guy.
Jeff98177 2 years ago
Clearly, she's trying to put the moves on the younger guy.
