what type dal do you use? if I can find mango powder at my ethnic store along with chick pea flour want to try to make dosas so need it anyway, will attempt to make these wonders of the world..they look delicious/oh and was that cilantro you put in? didn't look like cilantro to me? also what was in the green accompany dipping sauce? didn't catch the name that looked yummy too..ty for any replies

the only times katlamas were seen in lahore were during some mela or urs or during the shia celebrations in muharram; sometimes there was a stall near data gunj baksh's mazar;. did not find a restaurant that made katlammas daily and have yet to find them in usa. thanks for the recipe someday i will try though i dont know to cook except eggs lol

I used mash daal.you can use mango powder and chick pea to make the paste to put over the bread. For bread, use all purpose flour or chapati flour.
It is green coriandar/cilantro with seeds.
the green dipping sauce is called Raita. It's made with cilantro and yogurt.
