Berelis one of my fave guitarists but I dont agree that hes " better" than Yngwie..totally 2 different musicians and both are superb...Birellis masterful of gypsyswing, straighahead jazz,Fusion ,Upright, violin etc..but Yngwie just owns the neoclassical metal genre.
lmfao so funny seeing a gypsy playing metal. it must be SO easy for him. the easy of an electric compared to steel string acoustic + its electric..anything is easy and sounds good lol
The thing that makes this so sick, is that this was probably so easy for Bireli to play like this .I'm sure he didn't need to practice this style very much to play it as well or better than anyone. Yet 99%of the metal shredders could practice for years and not even be able to walk on the same stage as him when he's doing bebop or gypsy jazz
He definetely had to practice lol just because he shreds gypzy jazz doesn't mean that he could fake metal shredding. Its very different, the technique is completely different
This guitar genius started playing at 4. At 8 years old he was already performing. He is fantastic on the acoustic. So switching to electric is just a piece of cake. Always always good to see fantastic players. They always inspire you.
It's just a bit of fun at the end of the concert. I don't think it's meant as a massive musical statement. Except maybe: "Metal? What's the big deal?" ;-D lol!
This is kind of boring. I really prefer his jazz side. Seems that he is so talented that gets bored and needs to show his skills. It's like a kid jamming in his room with a rythm sequencer.
Why didnt they put this version out on the album hahaha ,instead of the detuning E string song on the album with one of the nicest sounding impressions Version ever...... He probably scared the Hell out of all the rockdudes back then..... What a great Hero he is....
That is very much how I usually put things when talking about Bireli. Me and my dad usually sit here scratching our heads. It really isnt fair to compare Bireli to any other guitar players or muscians because he is an alien from some other dimension. Everyone else is from earth, he isnt :P
he is fantastic but his level is possible to get .with a lot of work .of course he is very talented ,he is one of the best jazz guitar.
but once again any one could deny.i see in bireli a high level guitarist and when other musicians who play other instruments watch him how he can play jazz say wow.because he at the same high level like them.this is my opinion because every one think guitar is a easy instrument and no guitarist can play jazz

How can one play like this after being reared on rest stroke right hand?
Wow.
