  • dont drink n drive...

  • I'm sorry but, the car flipping was too funny to take seriously XD

  • Comment removed

  • @SolgerLemp you haven't even got one leg to stand on with that comment I'm sorry... you're also claiming that everyone who is not religious drinks and those who do are irresponsible with it. And if they do ban it, e.g. Islam... it's not because of this... do some research before you make sweeping statement. Jeez all the information available so easily these days and people are still ignorant!

  • @Jooooooanne89 love and peace mate, anyway due to my ignorance as you claim there is a point in your comment i didn't understand ((And if they do ban it, e.g. Islam... it's not because of this)) may i ? it's because of what then ?

  • I am sorry aswell, i just had to giggle a little when that car did that amazing stunt . Anyway, You cant escape this by riding a horse either! DONT DRINK AND RIDE.

  • i'm sorry but... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! XD

  • The commercial is good but there was no need for the caricature face, it spoils the video itself. Anybody can see for him/herself when the most shocking moment occurs.

  • i watched this on TV 3 months ago

  • I watched this today a my school we had this safe driving lecture.

this was on there. everyone was like oh my god.

  • what the hell is with the face? what the fuck is wrong with you?

  • @rockykid7 Well arent we friendly today, huh?

Those little caricature faces are there to actually symbolize the sadness and tragedy of that commercial.

  • @brockpierce1984 im sorry i really had no place saying that, it was just a sad commercial

  • @brockpierce1984

LOL fucking lame symbolization man, like we didn't notice the sadness without a sad face made by a 6 year old

  • @sebbe92an Jeez give me a break! I did this a few years a go with a new editing software. I had to get the hang of it then.

It just meant to symbolize the scene without being a distraction...

  • shocking . So shocking : (

  • @birdy1052 Thats the same impression had when I first watched that commercial. And the fact that the boy and the drunk was wearing the same color of clothing makes it even more creepier!

  • @brockpierce1984 they were wearing the same because the kid probly liked the team

  • @antimas1020 That would suggest that! But I think its also to create some deeper tension for the drama in this scene....

  • 1:06 omg is that how to become a vampire?

  • What a sad horrible commercial. So powerful.

  • this ad is really sad, but to be honest in recent years in ireland the ads are a lot worse, i suppose they're just trying to get the message through

  • @ellenhegarty1 I suppose so! To actually shock people more drastically and keep them off the Booze and then drive!

  • @Brockpierce1984 You killed it with your pink sad face. Why would you do that?

  • it was a song that was just done fot the ad no one knws who it was

  • @ollie1975able are you sure it was used in the damned united

  • Any idea who sings this song for the ad? and when was this ad first shown in Ireland?

  • @mollser well I dont know anything about the song...but this ad I recorded in 2004!

  • @mollser Fleetwood Mac sing it.....it's called Man Of The World.Written By Peter Green

    hope this helps :)

  • If he built a wall instead of a fence this tragedy could've been averted.

  • @spannerotoole ...if the driver wouldnt have drank alcohol the tragedy never happened.

You cant protect your kids, by "building walls" for everything ( and everyone ), otherwise those kids feel like in prison!

  • @brockpierce1984

That's an oversimplification, If I built a concrete wall and put some flowers and trees against it then it wouldn'r resemble a prison. My garden would be a personal paradise.

  • @spannerotoole That sounds like a simplification to me! Sure it would ve looked nice...like a haven. But you still cant keep out danger!

If the drunk driver was in a big truck instead of a car...he would ve smashed that concrete wall to bits...and could ve killed that kid anyway.

See danger is everywhere...you have to be vigilant all the time ( especially with children...and especially in these times ).

  • @brockpierce1984

Trucks can't come into my estate, they won't fit due to a barrier that keeps them out.

Also, there are ramps in my estate so if you are going too fast you will feel it. As these ramps are not like sloping ramps but more like walls.

Which kind of proves my point. walls slow down traffic.

  • @spannerotoole Sure in your case...in your location it seems to proof right!

But what is in other places ( even in Ireland ), where a truck could easily run of a Motorway and crash and burn into a nearby garden!

Even if that garden is protected by a high wall...from a Motorway it certainly could crush right through it!

Not much of an obstacle! In that case..the All-Time-Best Solution is definitely Dont Drink - And Drive! ( or smoke pot, dope, coke,...)

  • @brockpierce1984 But Motorways aren't built near homes, the only exception is palmerstown near the M50 but the estate is too high up for a truck to even reach up there.

  • @spannerotoole Well I live in the UK and direct beside a Motorway ( M60 ). Every day, I hear those big trucks holler down the street and my windows are shaking!

And even here in the UK, there are lots of incidents where a big truck ( or lorry ) crashed into a nearby house and flatten the entire building! See --- it happens! Maybe not in your area...then you are lucky!

And those incidents happened from speeding...imagine if there where drunk ( like the British )
