  • I'm studying this for A- Level (I'm currently in the UK btw..) But, This is very intresting! Thankyou Dr Walsh! :)

  • Excellent video Dr. Walsh. I'm happy that I found these. I need to not sleep in on weekends haha!

  • I love these videos and I would love to have some DVDs and Books from you Brian. I am a high school student having trouble remembering and storing the extensive amount of information I receive for 8 hours a day. I know it will only get worse in college and need some solutions!!

  • @NothingAtAllXD Thanks for your kind comments. Send me a message through the Contact page on my website and I will arrange for you to see the video "Enriched Learning."

  • Where does Dr. Walsh's claim about one's position on one's BRAC corresponding to which nostril is most open come from? I had never heard of that before. It'd certainly be useful!

  • @Morphenius

We are not ignoring your comment. Dr Walsh will be back in town, and will answer your question next week. Thanks for the question.

  • @Morphenius

Do a search on this phrase: Alternating lateralization of plasma catecholamines and nasal patency in humans

That will explain it in more detail.

    Cheers,

    Brian Walsh

  • @WalshSeminars Thank you!

  • this was great thanks! Jeff@sleepwarrior linked me here.

  • Hello Chr0meButterfly Thanks for your comments

Sleep cycles are just labels for the same concept. Dr. Walsh was talking to an audience of over 400 people, and wanted to keep the subject simple so as not to cause confusion.

Youre right about using the period just upon waking for writing goals, or any other creative activity for that matter. Dr. Walsh agrees that the time period varies. It can be as short as five minutes and as long as ten. Longer if waking due to a clocks alarm.

  • Dr. Walsh would love to come to Australia. We require a seminar company to sponsor him. If you have any suggestions, we would welcome them.

  • Studies have shown that the nasal cycle is tightly coupled to an ultradian rhythm of alternating cerebral hemispheric activity. This lateralized ultradian ANS-central nervous system (CNS) rhythm is also tightly coupled to the ultradian rhythms of the neuroendocrine, cardiovascular, and fuel-regulatory hormone (insulin) systems.

If you need the citations, please contact me.

  • Didn't you hear that story? I was invited to be at the head table at a large banquet in Beijing. The host told me to find my name written on a card where I was supposed to sit. When I fount it, it was, "Brain Wash." That was long before I knew that I was going to be a hypnotherapist. You can see the tail of end of me telling this story on my speaker promo video. Good notice!.. Brian

  • why on earth could some one tell anything from which "nostril takes in more air"? After all, any organ about to use chemicals in the air, are going to do so with the help of the respiratory and circulatory system. Besides I pesonally have never noticed any difference in air intake between the nostrils.

  • Hello have you ever considered using binaural beats in you programs?

We produce beautiful music with binaural beats and are looking for partnerships.

    Thank you Jandy from unison-therapy.

  • Hello Jandy,

I mention a number of different methods in my book. The binaural beats that I have used are from Centerpoint Research. I have also used isocronic brain entrainment for personal use. I have not considered using any of those technologies for my hypnosis CDs. If you have a specific proposal, we can talk.

    Cheers... Brian
