  • @cds417 the 06-10 Explorers do not have a dedicated 4x2 mode. Instead, it has a computer controlled AUTO mode that switches between 4x2 and 4x4 high depending on the amount of wheel slippage the computer feels.

  • does it have esp or traction control ? Just curious

  • ok i have a question and really want it to be answered on the ford explorer 06-10 can you switch it from 2wd to 4wd or does it always stay in 4wd? some1 please answer this question and fast!!!!!!! THANKY YOU!!

  • And are you recoding your audio through a tin can??

  • did that with my 03. yo have to dig it out all around the tires and shovel under near the axle to free it up, and then rock it back and forth.

  • my dad has one just like it, the stupid suspension in the back rides so low it gets hung up. after 4 low and a little rocking i made it out no problem

  • My dad has an 02 2 door and

    It does great in snow

  • nvm he did use a shovel lol

  • i had to give it back to the bank and the only reason I got the 03 XLT was it was either that or a mini van. My 03 is ok now I put some larger (Mud) tires on it and a k&n air filter. but still couldn't ever go the places I took my 99 Explorer sport

  • get ur truck and help lol ;)

  • Apparently that would be too easy. Haha

  • doesnt matter what vehicle you have on ice . Need decent tires with studs on Ice.

  • they took out the solid rear axle and stuffed a useless for articulation IFS system for better ride and handling

  • excuse me Independant Rear Suspension

  • doesnt matter what kind of 4x4 system and traction control if you still have the factory michelins...get the goodyear silent armour at's.

  • I bought some slightly taller than stock Big O Tire Mud terrains double if not tripled the places I can go but it still has mini van suspension no articulation ; (

  • @k2sb2003

I had those damn highway Michelins for one day and got them the hell off my 02. I've ran Revos and now have Firestone all-terrains, never a problem in deep ass snow. Rarely even need to lock in 4x4.

  • it had it. i turned it off because it wasnt helping at all. yes it was highcentered which did not help at all.

  • No traction control?

Everything must have been going against it. Ice, snow/ice/ground hitting bottom of car, etc.

  • its a 4.0 v6

  • what is the engine in this v6 or v8 ?

  • Joys of highway tires on a 4x4 SUV. Katelyn is a little hottie.

  • winter tyres or just regular ones ?

  • stock tires haha no not snow tires it may have had a chance then.

  • im kind of drunk rite now so i didnt see the 06 part lol hahahah

  • oops i juss saw it, it sed 06

i love fancy rides like this kind

  • nice fuckin ford explorer is that an 06?

i own a 99 explorer. but i love dodge trucks

  • very nice explorer, a lease or did you buy it?
