my reaction is 12 people are dumbass's cause they can's handle the prefcetion of this song cause they are bitter people that will not ever have true love go with flow i guess :o 19 and happyly in love ^-^
My all time fav song forever and since i ever heard it at a very young age. Not sure what it is, but this song always just hits my heart and soul, and the penguins were the origionals. I like all versions but they are my fav. :)
I was just 7 when the song was released. It took me about 10 years to appreciate it. It was voted the most popular song in the Rock & Roll era for about 25 years. I wouldn't be surprised if it still is!
Vocal group harmony music (often called doo wop) is enjoyed by people of all ages. This is one of my all-time favorite songs, and I'm 68. I had the pleasure of meeting the original Penguins (Cleve, Curtis, Dexter & Bruce) and getting their autographs in 1955 in Cleveland, Ohio. Cleve Duncan sang lead on the original recording (#8 pop & #1 R&B in 1954/55).
I"m from East Los Angeles, California 90063, and this song is the embodiment of the "RAZA" in the late 50'S and early 60's. I went to Belvedere Jr High School and James A. Garfield High School, hearing this song almost every day.
Cleve Duncan was the original lead of the Penguins.
“EARTH ANGEL” by The Penguins and “IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT’ by the Five Satins have come in number one and two on most of the oldies countdown shows.
@sjbiga HOW THE FUCK...CAN U MAKE A BLANKET STATEMENT LIKE THAT???....YOU FUCKING MORON!!!! DO YOU PERSONALLY KNOW EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THESE WHITE PEOPLE AT THIS SHOW???? FUCK ME!!!...HOW FUCKING RETARDED...ARE YOU.....SERIOUSLY!...HOW FUCKING RETARDED...ARE U?
