Are these Reason drums? sounds really good. Toms have a nice tone, ring to them and the bass drum is primo. Love it. Nice crash cymbal, and hi hats. These drums are really good.
@PeterGratrex this was actually the first guitar song i made. i didnt have Record back then and only had a borrowed 15 watt amp that sounded like shite haha :D
and Reason dont have audio in to i had to record first then import ;(
that guitar sounds absolutely aweful :L. not saying that your bad at this, but its jsut the software, im sure you know tha there are better software-s for recording guitar though :L
haha i know, its recorded from a low end amp without even a interface and its not doubble panned or anything. its my first song with guitars go easy on me :)
nah if you want to hear my latest song its right on my profile page, im not 100% satisfied with the guitar sound but its a huge step from this.
Not fucking bad man. I just got Reason 4 and plan to smoke out some nasty smack like that myself. I fucking love technology and that sultry babe we call muse.
a great way to import wav to reason is to make a .rex file for using with DR Rex. you can do that by using propellerheads recycle. a lot of tutorials explain how it works right here on the tube. i recommend you check it out!
Where'd you get the good drum beats? Also, when doing drums for a full song, is it normal to have 20+ patterns of beats and fills? Thanks. Let me know if you know of any good resources to learn drumming for reason, I suck at it!
No, I played and sampled it all myself, although i guess I could make a guitar refill, dont expect top sound quality though, im still struggeling with recording on my new amp
no heavy its not. one upcoming project tho is to make a brutal brakedown, so I'll have to tune down the guitar, and lower the pitch on my voice, cause else it would sound pathetic haha!
Brilliant. If you hadn't said it was made in Reason I would have sworn it was a live band down at the local pub. I can almost smell the beer and the sweat!!!
hah, well i have a Cort -something, I know its Cort but not which model, which is a pain in the ass since i want a whammy bar (need to know which model to get)
Love the guitars. The drums sound real. Did you recoed the drums, or are they samples?
Yeah, I used to listen to alot of deathmetal and sometimes I still do. I used to be in a deathmetal band. I played the drums. Cool track though! keep it up.

hey for like $80, you can get a m-audio fast track usb, and record your guitar in reason, instead of using audacity, the fast track has a preamp too
MrBrandonPeoples 2 years ago
bullshit to blame the software. there's no soundquality difference in them.
Frambusjt 2 years ago

btw, how do you add guitars recorded in audacity into reason? how can you import wav files ??
bluefAng 2 years ago

Very cool, it shows a different side of your musical ability, if your considering doing some more along this line then guitar rig 3 would be a perfect addition to your tool collection.
Peace.

thanks dude:D
I actually have guitar rig 3 (dont aske me how i got it ehm) but i get really wierd white/pink/other noises that are so loud i can barely hear the guitar. same thing has happened with other similar programs ive tried. hmm?
myrtorp 3 years ago
Hmm, definatly strange, it could be a whole host of possibilities, including sound leakage from your computer or perhaps a rig problem on your setup.
Would be worth tracking down the fault and getting it corrected as the rig would be very useful for you so what ever you do dont give up.
I been looking at a midi guitar, can barely play but it'd be cool.
Wish they had a violin version as that would make my life a little easier :p
Infact all instruments should have an electronic counterpart.
Peace
