While much leeway should be allowed the singers in these things, particularly in probably the best gender duet ever written, I'm not sure but that the tempo is more than a tad too fast for both these great artists -- both at the beginning and at the end.

If this Ferrando tried to seduce me I wouldn't put up any resistance. Heavenly tenor voice and good looks to match! They should have given the boys some platform boots or something, though. They look pretty comical next to the tall and majestic women in this production!

It was broadcasted on French TV 10 years ago. No DVD or VHS release unfortunately !
