  • nice man bass sounds good on my speakers

  • This actually sounds a LOT like Sam Powell's other Genesis soundtrack, Shadowrun (also one of the greatest games ever).

  • haha reminds me of the useless stun stick. i wonder what that weapon was for...

  • Why there are hardly any remixes to this on Youtube is beyond me.

  • @younggunsfan

    I have changed this.

  • @younggunsfan looks like your dream has come true, /watch?v=xT1iJRKzyP4

  • awesome track for awesome level of awesome game.

Made by the all awesome bluebyte soft.

    Shadowrun, anyone?

  • @rizer80

My exact thoughts. Sounds so Shadowrun.

  • i got to the trex at the end and coundt beat him i have tried but havent done it lol

  • Listen to this music. So genesis

  • You can tell the game designers read the book. The settings and events follow the book much more than the movie.

  • @xXSparky117Xx

Except for that Volcano level, that was all them.

  • @xXSparky117Xx Yeah, I liked that about the game. The book is absolutely amazing.

  • Loved this game as a kid.

  • I want to hear that during sex!

  • That Bass Makes It An Amazing sound to enjoy... #1 song For The Game (& I Don't Mean The "Raper")

  • This song is so crunk!! haha :P It brings back memories of my childhood, man.

  • Ahhh...one of my childhood favorites! Luckly for me I still have my Sega Genesis with all 3 JP games!!!

  • All I can think of is playing the raptor, jumping and clawing at Dr. Grant like mad while he goes all fuggin Boba Fet on my ass with like EVERYTHING IN HIS ARSENAL.

  • Best music in one of the best game based on JP movie.

  • Nice :D

  • I am gonna buy this game new on amazon, never before opened,at least that is what it says

  • When I was little this game was scary as fuck.

  • God I sucked at this game......

  • I remember being 6 when I got this game and nearly shitting my pants at the opening scene of the t-rex attacking the car. Amazing how a little imagination made an old 16-bit game so real. Not anymore these days :(

  • 130 likes, 0 dislikes. AS IT SHOULD BE.

  • this song kicks ass but there was this one version i heard from team fortress 2 would anyone happen to know what the song was and if so could they post the link to me

  • I STILL HAVE THIS GAME!!

  • @Tyrannozero82 Me to, I fucking love it.

  • @Tyrannozero82 I still have this game too (in FR) but I play it on Gens Emulator, to not wear out the cartridge and the Sega Genesis (Saga Megadrive in my counrty)!

    Wonderful game and musics.

  • Easily the best song on that game.

  • did the track fart at :05?

  • oh man... brings me back to the days b4 i had hair on my balls.

  • sick game...actually had a good atmosphere

  • NASTALGIA

  • OMG THE MEMORIES!!

  • I plan on getting the Sega Mega Collection. What I want to know is if this game is on that disc. Because if it is that would be so awesome and if it isn't they seriously need to put this on another Mega Collection or something.

  • hey guys! When I was young I always played this game on my sega genesis...and I always cared about the dinosaurs and killing them...but not i realize that this is a fucking great tune... :D

  • will sum1 make a remix of this song i fink it wud be awsome!!! :D

  • I shat my pants after getting in this level as a kid. Goddamn.

    Alsowhatthefuckamisupposedtodoattheskeletonwiththeraptorsholyshit.jpg

  • @Praioscal Throw the red explosive grenades at the base of the skeletons. One at one of them, then the other, and one more at the first one.

Be careful not to touch the two final raptors or hit them with any weapons. They'll quickly turn on you, they can't be stunned, and keep attacking you until you die!

  • My first rave music.

  • Oh wow, I confused this with shadowrun. o-o

    This sounds more awesome tough.

  • what an awesome tune! :D

  • bravo i was looking for this for a very long time

    thanks so much

  • Once again proving that the Genesis has much better that any other console :D

Oh, and this game is SO hard too D:

  • It reminds me of fighting Alan Grant as the raptor i couldnt ever figure out how to beat him, whenever i got close to him he'd zap me an i didnt really wanna kill him, why would you have to? You've already escaped, no point in killing Alan Grant. Sides Grants smarter

  • this track gives you the sensation danger and caution, which it goes very good with this stage, far one of the best song and game on the sega genesis library

  • Im extremely grateful that there are people on youtube posting almost every single video game music that there is. freaking awesome.

  • I loved this track, thanks fer uploadin' it.

  • Why did I get downvoted? It's widely accepted that it was inferior both in taste, but also that it was technically less impressive. That's kind of why I made the post about this song being so good. It really outdid itself in this case, it pushed the soundchip to its limit, thus producing a great track. The Sonic games did that really well too, and Batman.

  • @Mrster

Jurassic Park used the crappy GEMS engine which hardly pushes the YM2612 to its limits.

  • @Deokishisu

I've not gotten that much technical detail, but some scores were just really well made with what they could do with it. That's what I meant.

  • I am on a Fxxing table right now!! A TABLE!

  • 8-Bit music like this still blows away modern games' music. Except Metroid Prime. That music is friggin awesome.

  • @DinoDude65 Actually Genesis is 16-bit. And lemme say man I think the main reason Prime's music is so good in your eyes is because almost every track in that game is a remix of an older Metroid song. XD

  • @BLARGEN69

I know, but it's just the way they remixed it.

*8/16 bit music blows away modern games :D

  • Genesis had an inferior sound chip and it usually showed. But sometimes the games could really push it to the limit, like here.

  • @Mrster Otherway around bro, the genesis had a better sound chip. That's why games like Toejam & Earl were developed on it instead of the NES or SNES.

  • Source?

  • The SNES had a higher number of channels and a higher frequency as well.

  • @Mrster But the tracks never sounded as upbeat or fun as Genesis tracks.

  • @mistertitanic

Sounds like quite the generalization, I don't know about that. Or were you referring to the SNES Jurassic Park?

  • @Mrster I'm referring to most of the SNES games. they have good music, but it's not as upbeat or fun to listen to as most Genesis tracks (I said most, not all) Like the music in Super metroid for example, Very high quality, but no melodies at certain times. I'll just say both have awesome music. But the Genesis wins in my book.

  • @mistertitanic

Gotcha. Funny you say Super Metroid though, that game has great memorable tunes, some of which are horror-like, some are upbeat and fun.

The only thing I can say is that the SNES has a higher quality and usually makes smoother and better orchestrated version, whilst Genesis might have the 'harder' songs if you know what I mean.

  • @Mrster Yes. The snes has higher quality. There are some genesis that give it a run for it's money though! Check out "Streets of rage 2 music" "Dreamer" that is good quality as any snes game.

  • pretty much all the sega games have badass background music. damn they all bring back good old memorys : / miss those days

  • Haha this brings back good memories. I still got the game and the little booklet. All my old passwords for the levels are in there. I had to be like 6 when I was playing through this, Grant was a major ass when it came to taking him out as the raptor.

  • Why is Allan Grant so awesome in movie and in games "Just the 2 raptors" Click click!! haha awesomeness

  • This Game Was Nothing Like The Movies Haha

  • That's why it didn't suck like most movie-based games.

  • @AFreakinProblem

    Very True.

I Remember "The Thing" Game Haha Fuckin' Horrible.

  • Man.. I used to have this game before it got stolen..

  • This game was awesome. I mean, how many games are there that let you play as a Velociraptor? AND listen to awesome music such as this?

  • Eat rockets dino-douchebags!

  • Every time I hear this song one thing comes to mind, those fucking raptors jumping up and down at you as you go through the vents in the 2nd to last area. That scared the balls out of me as a kid. Classic song. I DEMAND A OC REMIX!!

  • Best game track ever !!

    Classic Mega Drive Game

  • Comment removed

  • @Swiper360 Agree. Even after severeal years of technological advancement and thousands of songs no game track hit me like this song did the first time I heard it. I could listen to this 1000 times in a row and still keep listening.

  • Same thing here, sometimes I'd just start the level turn the TV up and let the track play many times over.

  • WHAT A LEGEND!

  • with a cd tray underneath it playing it's music offcourse but else no fucking way not in a milion years.snes has to got the most unbalanced music ever in video games from crappy slow samples to pretty harch music to a few standing out and doing they're instruments justice.half of the time when you hear violins etc on the snes they sound to slow or not good, and snes used orchestral music for fucking techno or hardrock Contra 3 should have sounded like contra Hard corpse and perhaps more.

  • EPIC !

  • Why hasn't OC remix redone this one yet?

thi is my favorite trak in the whole game...

  • Sam Powell did an amazing job with the sounds from this game, give that guy a medal or trophy or something for making such an awesome soundtrack!

  • i wish i had an MP3 of this :(

  • This makes me wanna play as a raptor and run in ventilaton tunnel

  • got any more of the stage musics i loved the pumping station too.

  • In all honesty this song was the only reason why I kept coming back to this game, it's that awesome.

  • Best music for this game!! Thanx 4 the memories. I got this for Christmas when I was 10. LOL

  • -.- i dont get whats so funny...

  • The whole remonising thing of the choppy graphics and sound n stuff.

  • Dude I can totally dance out to this. XD I love this theme.

  • hollywood undead is nothing compared to this

  • FUCK HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD!

  • god damn i dont care what any one says this game was sheer awesome

  • this game was impossible back then :(

  • This game brings back fond memories...

  • That raptor running beneath while you're in the vents has to be the scariest part.

  • I always loved this song

  • for the longest time I couldnt pass this level. Rampage edition was better I think.

  • I think they're both in good in different ways/.

  • Game was good but the ending was shitty lol

  • awesome track

  • great song and game thanks to how ever put this on

  • Woo!

  • All I can say after watching the movie, and then clicking on this video is... What the Hell?

  • dude you realise this is from the game, not the movie right?

  • FUCK YEAR

  • awesome track

  • the Music Is Bad ass and so is the game....i never liked the SNES on cuz it SUCKED

  • Thanks for posting, this is my favorite song from the game :)

  • my favorite and best part is 1:07

  • fuck yeah i remember finally getting here. the level was so damn hard

  • i love this game score. so glad i have it too ;)

  • Definately my favorite track from a Jurassic Park video game. I can't remember the countless times I got to this level just to hear the music and now it's finally on youtube! Thanks video creator!
