So, can you post a video on how you did your blowout? I am starting to think that the longer your hair is the better the blowout no? I will be 7 months on October the 7th, but I am waiting patiently for my 9 months. There was a big difference between your 5 and 9 months. I must say thought that I did a blowout for my 6 months and it was pretty big, but the shrinkage just kept coming back so my pictures was not really my true length :-(

I don't know about the longer the better, because to me, it all depends on the condition and health of ur hair.

and don't worry about the shrinkage, cause I took all of my pics RIGHT after I did the blowout and then I styled it before it shrunk up. lol

Yep...that's where I am now... It'll be 1yr in a couple days & I LOVE it...the only thing is that my hair is REALLY fine and not as kinky as I'd like. Thanks to genetics on my mom's side for that. Still haven't gotten up the nerve to twist my own hair..NO PATIENCE whatsoever lol

just don't use too much product since u have a finer grade, so it doesn't look stringy.

Congrats! You've got a lot of growth! I'm really excited for you. To me I feel like once one makes the 12 month mark it's just downhill from there (of course in a good way) I mean it should only get longer and thicker provided that you keep doing the correct things to your hair.

I'm 3 months away from my 1 year. I want to follow your progress, can you imagine what your hair is going to look like at 18 months or even better 24 months :-)
