@bajabum1987 I ran into L'Angelus' version about 2 weeks ago. Highly polished and great live music. Having said that, they won't make my iPod list but most of what's on there is more contemporary country/folksy/blues. Randy and The Rockets - Lets Do the Cajun Twist isn't on my iPod either.
@sebby5 All I do is post this stuff (and listen to it of course). The greatness of anything on this channel is by the artists. Thanks to your family for such a wonderful gift to us!!!!
Thnx again 9th I'm a Who Dat but my bloodline is from Eunice & Churchpoint. My mom started laughing when she heard this and told me that Lafayette was the "big city" and going there was a big deal for them. (her first job was in Basile, selling sno-balls.) She says she can't twist but just put on "Allons Danse Calinda" & she'll 2-step a hole in the rug. You made her day&that makes ME smile! Merci beaucoup cher!! (Still listening to Roland- I see what you mean about his voice- better with age)
@MegaVoodooChile Making your "mom's day" is for me aa honor and I am glad I had the opportunity along with all dat help I got from Randy and them rockets!
What do y'all think of L'Angelus' version this great song?? I'm a big fan of theirs but want to hear your opinion.
