  • nay on the fake coral it looks tacky and the pebbles too. your Ph must not be that high

  • i'd remove the suckers and then i'll be jealous of your tank

  • wow this is a very nice tank beautiful colors and nice variety of fish. good job!

  • What are the brand and model of the tank and tank stand?

  • This fish tank does look really nice with the African and American Cichlid. But how are they living together i really wanna do that let me know?

  • @IBPimpin18 im doing it at the moment and they are living fine, going to get a 6 ft tank on monday, cant wait!

  • I love your tank. I just decorated mine in the same manner just because it's so beautiful. I as you are aware cichlids don't live in a salt water environment. But, I assure you they don't know their decorations are reefs. Lol! Enjoy.

  • awesome tank what is your tank background?

  • wow, ur plecostomus are huge! I've had mine for almost 1 year now and it's only half ur size. awesome tank

  • You know what guys, he bought and paid for the decorations so he can do whatever he wants. Personally, I have goldfish, and I did a pirate ship and plant theme in mine...but I love what you did. I'm sure the fish don't give a shit one way or the other. They have a large tank and someone taking care of them. Good goin mate.

  • you cant mix new world cichlids with old world..and you cant put common plecos in 100 gallons one will need at least 75gallons..but im not flaming but it is a beautiful tank none the less but what i said COULD be wrong but go to monsterfishkeepers(dot) com its a good site for the fish/animal community..bye =)

  • how much are 100 gallon fish tanks generally?

  • ewwwwww hate the fake coral in a cichlid tank!! Very tacky!!! ........stupid newbies!!

  • Great Tank! Im planning on buying about the same size. You mind helping me with the dimensions.. Thanks

  • Is it good to mix other fish with the Cichlids? Have they ever fought? I need to know asap because we are getting some tomorrow PS nice tank

  • so colorful!!! love it

  • wow so colorful it looks pretty big conpared to my tiny 10 gallon tank i wishe i could get a tank like that but there is no room for it in the house and its hard for me to maintain the tank i have now with homework and all and are thoughs fihs that are sucking onthe glass pleco? they grow to huge lengths

  • I love plecos =)

  • lmao at fake coral in a FRESHWATER tank. dude thats so lame. Wasted your money makes you look like an idiot.

  • @MrWDTV If u dont like it, dont do it with ur little shitty tank. He paid for it so he can do whatever he wants and you will understand that concept as soon as you earn that first check from youth employment :-).

  • That looks amazinnnggg! That must of cost alot, How much did it cost you ruffly all together?

  • Nice tank :)

  • Personaly i think you pulled the fake corol off. To the novice fish keeper this is as close as you can to making a fresh water tank look salt. And For half the price! I love it.

  • D: very nice tank! but lol at the marine design with the freshwater fish haha very nice thouugh. id love to has it.

  • please get rid of these coloful artificial corals.. they are highly unrealistic.. Malawi lake looks completely different!!

  • i have a blood parrot and a firemouth in a 55 gallon tank. what other cichlid do you think i could put in with them?

  • fake coral = gay

  • hey what type of peacock is that at 1;37? I put it in with my male dragonblood peacock.

  • nice tank, great fish. lose the fake coral. besides coral belongs in the ocean not in fish tanks. i personally don't know why anyone would go the hassle and expense of having a saltwater aquarium. too many beautiful fresh water fish and the freshwater fish for the most part are captive bred.

  • are you watching the summer olympics as a matter of fact are you watching gymnastics?? I love the fish tank by the way... lots of fishies in there... we only have 6 in our 55 gallon and 2 algae eaters lol

  • Why don't you add real petrified coral instead of the fake stuff?

  • Wow

    nice tank

I have a 65 with Electric Labs / Perlmutts, Demansoni, Hap 22 and 1 kenyi cichild ( was sold as a baby lab...) and a few algea eaters)

I see you have a few bals in there or Foxes

  • boo on the fake corals andd colorful substrate. The fish look amazing, but I prefer to put africans in a more natural environment: calcified rocks, neutral colors, etc (their colors stand out more). You should try it for your next setup, youll like your fish even more.

    nice though

  • Interesting stocking choice. Hope it works out for you.

That breeding net looks like its going supernova.

  • that`s not salt water tank the fake coal out.

  • you have needle fish!!! do they do well with cichlids?

  • nice tank! check mine out!

  • I LOVE your setup . . . looks great!

  • too many fake things and mixing them with other fish no good idea, i like tht little burindi frontosa ;))

  • fake coral in an african cichlid tank ... lame + needle nose gar ... you scream noob.

  • nice looking tank, though your mix of fish wont work forever

  • What do needle nose gar mainly eat?

  • the only thing thats missing in here would be a blue lobster =) but its beautiful though !

  • ahhhh. got some babies in the breeding net??? becuse mine just swawned omost 300 babies

  • needlenose gar at 0:26 . he is planning his next rebelious attack on the cichlids! =) BEST TANK ON YOUTUBE!!!! thats coming from a guy who has been aquarium pro hobbiest for 25 years! cichlds are the best freshwater fish!

  • okay just wait and check mine as soon as im done...the ornimates are way better than mine no doubt but just wait until i post my vid with everything in it i looks like the ocean and u will shit ur pants

  • counting on it :)

  • talk is talk though but im working on it lol

  • That is a needlenose gar also known as a needlefish not an alligator gar or a baby gar pike. But great tank!

  • Oscars are a type of Cichlid. I have a cichlid tank all doing good except my Dempseys beat the hell out of the Oscar to show him wats up and whos in charge haha Hes ok now got some stuff to help him heal.

  • It's fake..i mean seriously it isn't that hard to know. It's sold at petsmart..

  • um why 2 pluckos? and yah u can put oscars in there he will grow slower then ussual and be very aggressive during feeding time....

  • its cool but get the fake coral out of there. pot some roots and some rocks etc etc make it where they live in the wild.

  • Even i think the same as sunsetreptiles amazing ciclids man!!!!!!

  • why do you have coral in a fresh water tank.

  • i think its fake but could be wrong

  • wow, you must've ditched out on science class in the 3rd grade clown.

  • wouw

  • can u keep oscars with cichlids i think you can but im not sure

  • yeah just get them at the same size

  • OSCARS ARE CICHLIDS ! LMFAO!!!

  • wow wow wow. i love your beautiful tank. i wish i knew how to do that. Looks like alot of hard work you did. Good job!

  • Nice tank

    FTW

    5/5

    Very clean 2

  • like the reefs lol

  • Künstliches Karallenriff find ich gut gestaltet.O.K.

  • do those pen fish not harm the cichlids

  • I love your cichlid selection! Very beautiful assortment... but I personally have always been super anti-fake coral in freshwater setups. Other than that, nice tank!

  • You know I do too. But I thought the colors would compliment the fish. Thanks for your input.

  • @kfouria but it stii looks nice right...

  • @MisterTanks very nice tank m8

  • nice tank , pleas check out my tank as well ....

    thanks

  • Nice.

  • wow, you've manages to get a n alligator gar in your yank with other fish when i tried it it ate all my cichlids! but the cichlids were pretty small and the gar was like 7'' i think

  • thats a baby gar pike.alligator gars are different. look it up

  • Hi im going to set-up a afican cichlid tank soon and i currently am breeding bristlenose and was wondering if they were bristlenose plecos also whats your ph

  • are tour fish very agressive

  • yes i was kidding it could use some

    more fish

  • how big can african cichlids get ?

  • that tank is way to crowded some of your fish are going to get killed by the other fish

  • are you kidding?!

  • cool fish but do u really need 2 suckers

  • yes actually, and 2 scavengers (corydoras) to clean the bottom.

  • 5/5 love ur tank hope those fish dont go crazy and pick on eachother then sooner ur fish will start killing eachother and you will have atleast 1-5 fish left

  • Wow this is great!!! It looks like a salt water tank, LOL

  • were you watching gymnastics? x

  • Looks like a marine tank lol but still nice.

  • lol were you watching the olympics?

  • omg ! this tank is soooo nice! i love it :D ^^

  • hey what filter set up etc on your tank. SWEET!!!

  • Why would you put fake Coral in a fresh water aquarium?

  • so it would look kool

  • but it doesn't look cool. A cool tank with coral is a salt tank with LIVE coral and cool fish to fit the coral not fresh water fish with fake crap.

  • simply beautiful bro...

  • amazing

  • your a pimp! WHOA! salt water lookin tho but fresh water now thats a good way to save money and minimal maintainance nice tank

  • che belli gli squaletti

  • umm did the cichlids ever attack the plecos?bc i had plecos im my tank and 1 got its eyes ate out.

  • Nice tank.... Nice decorations.... Some of these dopes can't even spell salt, much less get their own tank up and running... keep up the good work..

  • lol you have FW fish with SW decorations. lol but nice tank though. :D

  • dude your tanks badass

  • cichlid are cool fish

  • what is the blue and white striped cichlid called on 0:37

  • Cichlids are good ass fish to have cuzz they look like saltwater fish

  • Thank you guys...For the positive comments.

  • lol

  • lol

  • BeAuTiFuL! I would suggest a background to keep the eyes entertained ;)

  • The decoration is way too garish, it draws the eye away from the fish. Try a more natural setting for the african cichlids, such as some honeycomb limestone.

The gravel is just plain horrid, IMO. To each his own, I suppose...

  • nice tank, ignore the idiotic comments

  • Why have a freshwater tank looking like a saltwater one?

  • Comment removed

  • nice tank

  • Great tank but you really should african fish in higher ph like 8 or higher. Im a little concerned seeming u ahve some fish that need really high ph and some that need very low...

  • okay thanks.

  • @iancpsc24 8 and higher really

  • From far away those coral looks real but we need an up close to really see how it look.

  • cool bala shark

  • are thy salt water

  • no they are freshwater with fake corals

  • What is that black and white fish in there I just caught one in my back yard and I put it in my tank Could you look At my video and see If it is the same fish and if it is tell me what it is?

  • That is a beautiful tank very clean

  • you can put these things in there for algea and another thing to makee the water clearer or you did not do enough water changes

  • he can a oscar be with them

  • not really.

  • how do u keep that soooo clean? i had one with my family was loving it. but always got dirty i know the fish that have those suckers eat some of the algy but not all of it surely.

    i forgot there name.

  • nice

  • WOW! How much did you pay for that tank? I am looking for one at the moment, it'd be good if u could tell me a price... plsz.

  • i bought my 90 gallon tank for 600$ stand pump filter and heater =/ it was on sale

  • Dude hate to burst your bubble but unless is a really good stand that is what it worth.

  • Arent africans Brackish?

  • No not to my knowledge. But thanks for the view.....

  • African's aren't brackish... that is racist. African Cichlids DO enjoy higher salt content than many other freshwater fish.. Most African cichlids available in our hobby today are from the 3 great rift lakes of Africa, namely Lake Malawi, Lake Tanganyika and Lake Victoria.

In the case of Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria, the pH level is usually around 7.7 to 8.6 with a hardness of up to 22ºdH. For the case of Lake Tanganyika, the pH hovers around 8.6 to 9.2 with a hardness of up to 25ºdH.

  • it looks like a saltwater reef good job :)

  • I wasn't exactly going fo that look but the colors really did compliment the fish. Thank you though.

  • how many fishes do u have my friend hahah woow!

  • about 30 to 40 man.......

  • Awesome tank!!!

  • thank you really worked hard on it. But was worth all the way......
