I have a single cylinder air pump too, only it is more modern and designed for heavier use. It involves the use of an electric can motor to rotate some gears and move a piston at very high speed, thus causing repeated compression and airbursts coming out so fast that it is a constant stream of air (very high RPM). Yet, it is so tiny, and I took it out of a cheap, portable car tire pump.
it also runs away lol

no sterling is slightly different.Just search it i dont know how they work (nor what the hell they can possibly be used for)
legonoitall 4 years ago
the heat causes the air in the chamber to expand creating pressure which allows the piston to move etc.

It's cool!.. How does it work?
