I kindof almost wish they would have stuck with this fixed camera in cockpit view now.. We wanted something like gtr2 or nfs shift's physics based camera movement in interior view... What we got however is a headache inducing shake fest that just makes us want to switch back to bumper cam, better off that way anyways since most of the cars don't have cabin view. Ahh, oh well. Still a great game.

I tried it in the ring°boulevard last weekend. Gearbox was automatic and the car had traction control, but no ESP. That combination was rubbish to drive and I ended up spinning three times. Had a 8:19.. will have to retry that some time. First time in a racing seat, a wheel with ffb (pretty much first ever time wheel for me in a proper game). It was a fun experience nevertheless, and the graphics were insane.. but you can see that in this video ;-)

gt5 prolouge was renderd alot higher as the same with all gt prev prolouges (if im spelling that right?) being a smaller game they are renderd higher but being a early stage in development they usually increase the effictiancy enough to match that by the time the games relised.. Remember all gt's have been delayed, And dont hold your breath on this one. because everytime a big tital is relised this game gets pushed back. its on the basis that if there are two games one has to pick = less sales

This driving mode is set to Standard (arcade mode, it can be set to Pro/Simulation) Damage is switched off in the demos, Gran Turismo had racing lines before forza, and there were dozens of racing games that had a racing line before either the original playstation and xbox were released. Problem is people of this gaming generation are morons who believe everything they're seeing is the first time its been done or seen anywhere. Console wars? happened before!

They have delayed it ONCE (not again) and only for Japan. There was never a specific release date for the rest of the world. Everything else is and was speculation, though I think the release window was set to this fall quite some time ago.

I think one of the main reason for the delay is b/c it's been such a long time since GT4, and if GT5 doesn't meet the extremely high expectations, then people might bring pitch forks. I'm thinking GT5 is aiming for a score of 10/10, and right now it's probably an 8/10 if released early.

I think u can tell if the car sounded like a big ass V8 or some electric shit... I realy didn't like that clean as toilet tracks in Prologue, also tree's that are flat like a paper sheet. Regarding the replay I already wrote to one of the first comments, that there wasn't any available. You had a timelimit of 12 minutes and as soon as this was expired you went back to the menu, if I remember correctly.

So about the sound... what to you mean with improvements? In comparison to what? I'm afraid I'm too much of a "noob" to hear any essential difference. It's very subjective anyway.
