The Bible tells us that everyone will know who Jesus is, whether they know Him as saviour or not: "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth." I have been to a few Churches. Worship is defined as falling down and praising. I have never seen a Christian fall down and worship an image. We may full down in wonder at the essence of Christ, but not His physical image. As for not recognizing Jesus at His second coming, thats just an ignorant guess on your part. When Jesus was raised into Heaven, the angel said He will come back the same way. When the sky parts, and God desends in glory, I think it'll be a dead give away to who He is.
We don't worship artistic renditions of Jesus. In case you didn't realise, the Gospels give no physical description of Jesus. I have never been to any Church where anyone has praised a rendering of Jesus. But we praise and worship Jesus. The difference is we worship Jesus' being, inspite of His physical vessel. We worship Jesus' holiness, compassion, forgiveness, truth. We don't care what he looked like, we love Jesus for who is is, and what he did.

We worship God through Christ, for Christ is God in the flesh, not a portrait of Him. Jesus said God is Spirit, He came as the Holy Ghost into this world in a fleshly body, so really Jesus is God.

Jesus said you will all know Him when he comes O;-) so if we know him, and many have died and come back from heaven and hell and tell us what He looks like and when He says "Seek my face", why is it so hard to believe us when we show you what we see? Christians don't worship an artist's rendition of God. We do not know what Jesus looked like. Some artists have tried to capture from their imagination what he may have looked like. The people aren't worshiping the tree and picture are they? It's ok with me because I don't know any Christians who worship a painting, a statue, or a stained glass window. Jesus is not in our material world any longer. He's in the Spirit now. When Jesus returns there will be no mistake. It's not about appearance.

We do not know what Jesus looked like - we are supposed to follow the Lord through our faith only - it is just the same for using the crucifix (Although, the crucifix can be used as a symbol to show others that you are a Christian - but that is it - no statues of it should be used in the church) - if you have any other questions feel free to message me!

fair question. check out the Old Testament description of the Temple....how God required it to be built and the decorations in the very Temple.Pomegranates decorated the curtains and pillars. 12 bronze bulls were bases to old up the huge water basin. And Cherubim angels adorned the top of the Ark of the Covenant. If God had a problem w using such things as decoration, He would never have ordered their use as decorations in the Temple. Three-fold reason againt idols
1. You have no idea what God looks like and are therefore creating an image from your own vain immagination and not God.
2. Man always ends up worshipping the image or the idol itself (which has no power), instead of the God of creation. They end up worshipping the works of man.
3. God is Spirit and we worship Him in spirit, which takes faith. The need for an idol represents the wicked and perverse generation that requires physical proof of their faith.

I have been to a few Churches. Worship is defined as falling down and praising. I have never seen a Christian fall down and worship an image. We may full down in wonder at the essence of Christ, but not His physical image. As for not recognizing Jesus at His second coming, thats just an ignorant guess on your part. When Jesus was raised into Heaven, the angel said He will come back the same way. When the sky parts, and God desends in glory, I think it'll be a dead give away to who He is.

We don't worship artistic renditions of Jesus. In case you didn't realise, the Gospels give no physical description of Jesus. I have never been to any Church where anyone has praised a rendering of Jesus. But we praise and worship Jesus. The difference is we worship Jesus' being, inspite of His physical vessel. We worship Jesus' holiness, compassion, forgiveness, truth. We don't care what he looked like, we love Jesus for who is is, and what he did.

I always quickly dismiss a blond haired, blue eyed presentation of Jesus. The people aren't worshiping the tree and picture are they? It's ok with me because I don't know any Christians who worship a painting, a statue, or a stained glass window. So, Mr. ministerabdallah, you don't have to worry about people not recognizing Him when He comes. Satan will say that it's God, but that's only words. Jesus is the Light and Satan cannot wear Light.

Just to add. We are to worship in spirit and in truth. And our understanding of Jesus is not to be grasped in the natural but in the spiritual. Most of what goes under Christianity today is not Christian at all. Christians today are more pagan than pagans were not too long ago. Deception is a very big topic. And essentially I agree with your statement. I do not know what your spiritual background is but I challenge you to find out and find the true Jesus. He is the way the truth and the light.

just want to comment on your video made. I personally believe worshiping a picture of any kind is paganism. You are right in saying that we should not make and worship any images of any kind. And I agree that the images of Jesus are just the imagination of human artist. I personally question the moral background of some of those painters. Anyhow, In the book of Isaiah53:2 it says He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him,
nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him

I am a Born again Jesus follower! We are not suppose to worship any ideals! I look at the Cross as a resemblence of what accured that day on Calvary!!! No real Christian needs to worship anything other than Jesus Christ!! That is what the Roman Chatholics do< and they are false for worshiping saints, virgin mary, It's all about Jesus!!!

However to say jesus isnt god is about as wrong as ya get read John 14 from verse 5
Jesus the way to the Father. theres many other references too. The Auther of the bible is god Himself which can be seen if we read the bible in its entirety. Godbless

@MrGibbsmurray Many of us are very much doing that & anticipating the return of Yeshua Meshiach. Increasingly you will find Christians celebrating the Jewish Festivals rather than Christmas, Easter, etc, because Jewish Festivals have a deep prophetic meaning concerning the return of Yeshua. Regarding Yeshua saying he is God, he didn't say it, neither did he deny divinity. In fact from what he said he alluded to a closeness with God that is inseparable from God, so explain that?

You haven't explained the person of Yeshu (Jesus Christ). You need to realise that from the time of Yeshua, he asked "Who do men say that I am?" - why did he ask this?

So I hope you realise that Christianity Isn´t what the bible says.Thje bible doesn't talk about trinity or rapture or celebrating christmas or easter. So I hope that is cleared up. That;s why I don;t go to church.

@MrGibbsmurray Then he asked Peter "Who do you say that I am?" and Peter's response was "You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God". Yeshua's response was "Flesh and blood have NOT revealed this to you....but my Father in Heaven". In simple language Yeshua was saying that Peter's response did not come from Peter himself, from his mind, intelligence, knowledge, learning, his degree, or books, or imam or priest. He said that Peter had received this as a Revelation from God.

If you are not sincere, then you will ignore this and hope it goes away and hope that you can forget about it! Why didn't Yeshua rebuke Peter for saying this? He rebuked Peter on other occassions!

Where is the boundary between the spiritual heaven and the Earth? Is it possible for beings to come out of and retun into the spiritual heaven, to and from Earth? Angels do! Yeshua ascended to heaven, even though Heaven is only where God is! Can you sit with God and be "a man"? Go back to the Bible and God my friend!

If you see lots of people going on it, it probably isn't the right road! Today, many are turning to Islam thinking it is the 'right road', but people in large numbers tread the wide path that leads to destruction according to Christ.

@MrGibbsmurray Christ told us very clearly that in the last days, MANY would be deceived and believe "doctrines of devils" and "false prophets", brother betraying brother. This departing from the faith that Christ taught is a significant sign in itself, that we are in the last days before the return of Christ. I am actually convinced that we are now in a unique time, in which we may expect literally the Return of Christ at any time within in our lifetime.

@MrGibbsmurray There are MANY reasons for this, but its worth studying to see why! One thing we know is this: "He that comes to God, MUST believe that He is AND that He is a Rewarder of those that Diligently seek Him"
Note that it says "He that comes to God" NOT "He that becomes dogmatic about religion" or "He that becomes a muslim" or "He that follows every religious rule meticulously". God says NONE of these things! it is "HE THAT COMES TO GOD" not "He that comes to RELIGION"

@MrGibbsmurray and why is it not "He that comes to RELIGION", because No religion can save a man, woman or child. Religion falls short of the Glory of God! This is what it says in Romans 3:23 "For ALL HAVE SINNED, AND COME SHORT of the glory of God;"
Rom 3:24 "Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:"
This means ALL RELIGION FALLS SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD! hinduism, islam, judaism, even Christianity.
