do you people know that the bulls/broncs are worth thousands? no decent rodeo contractor is going to allow his animals to be hurt. it cost too much $. these are not "give away" animals or "throw away" animals. 8 seconds of riding how many times a year? and what do they do the rest of the time? EAT and RELAX.

Do these rodeo haters eat beef? Rodeo is the oldest American sport. It demonstrates what cowboys did to handle cattle. The sport of rodeo originated from ranches all across America. Cowboys who did these acts in their everyday life gathered to demonstrate their skills and compete against other cowboys. The American cowboy may disagree with the rodeo haters but he'll still call them ma' ma or sir. Because it's a way of life. Keeping the western heritage alive.

ditto. just about everything but bull riding and barrels, but an everyday thing on a ranch. still is :D roping to brand or catch battle, bronc riding, what is your horse gets hot?! :P ect. it's pretty cool when you compare rodeos to ranching

well actually horsegirl107, did you know that millions of horses that are disgustingly used in rodeo get taken to the slaughter house after and get hung up by their back legs, then have their necks slowly cut to let the blood drain away? type 'rodeo terror' into the search bar and watch the video...not so for it now are ya?

i used 2 think rodeo was cruel but now i realise those animals are athletes! have u ever watched ''pro bull riding'' on sky sports? its amazin! the bulls are really wel looked after and they all have individual names and stuff! i thaught they were forced to buck by straps (cruelty!!!) but in reality on pro bull riding after the rider comes off, they walk calmly away almost as if their proud of them selves! just watch it and you'll see wat i mean!

Little imple, just because something has been done or "BRED" as an object of utility by insensitive humans, doesn't mean it is right. Horses,calvs and steers feel pain, they suffer and they clearly don't enjoy what is being done to them- IT IS MORALLY REPREHENSIBLE and IT WILL CEASE, maybe not today, but the more people find out and become aware, the outrage will crush this pointless violence into submission. The dream you live is that they are treated like Gods.

So what you can talk to thease animals, please inlighten me sence i guess you know everything about them. I have seen horses that LOVE doing their job, horses dont like to be bord all day and sit in a pasture. Your just as insensiitive as any other person around also.

No shit animals can feel pain, i have seen horses, calvs and steers being hurt (by the wrong people)..Anything can feel pain. Look i LOVE animals and all but, horses not liking what they do!? That really makes me laugh.
