  • lmao @emmabrodiexx <3

  • some right keyboard warriors commenting on this video:L

  • To tell you the truth, breaking out is DUE to makeup!! I have oily skin and foundation makes it 10x worse. The best is no makeup to get rid of oil and acne.

  • uuuum. you dont even need makeup. fml. :P

  • i like skipping to the end to see the end result :3

  • i might have missed what you said due to the sound quality - why do you spray water before you apply foundation?

  • @j49053 She said that in her opinion it helps her to look dewy and flawless :)

  • Great tutorial, you should do them again! :)

  • HAHAHA. What a troll. Trying to make yourself feel better by criticizing somebody who is actually quite pretty. If you don't like the video, don't watch it, and don't get all big and bad behind that computer screen of yours.

  • Thanks for this, I found it very helpful. And you also have flawless skin without foundation!

  • thank you this was extremly helpful. I have now invested in some primer :)

  • i also did a foundation routine for acne prone skin, my skin is not as good as urs! :(

  • You look kinda like Mulan...But, I mean that in a good way(: She's pretty and so are you!

  • Sideburns??

  • i dont know why anyone has to talk about her. shes obviously really good at doing makeup and i think we all watched this video because we needed help. and shes pretty too !

  • I think your really beautiful :3 just saying hehe everybody being mean is just insecure cuz your a bright and happy and helpful person unlike themselves:D

  • WTF. This is about learning how to apply foundation not criticizing people on stupid B.S. Shut up and watch the video.

  • Thanks!!!

  • your pretty

  • "oily" and shiny skin are two seprit things fyi to the haters :)

  • @yellow468 seperate*

  • do u have "sideburns" O.o ??

  • It's funny how everyone watching this is a "makeup artist"....if you are a professional, you shouldn't need to watch videos of it on youtube. And why are you people telling her that her skin is oily? I'm sure she knows....cause ya know, we all get to PICK what our skin is like. People are idiots.

  • Using water is interesting. Thanks for the tip!

  • I thought u had pimples on your face! Those are moes

  • @sharondatutson: learn how to spell -_- moles* and keep your dumb comment to yourself!

  • I dont like how your face looks a lil oily.!!

  • Omg i love that birthmark on the bridge of your nose:DDD i want one there!! xD lol

  • Ello well i am bronzed do you know any lik foundation dat would help me

  • You have good ideas good for you and for us thanks.

  • Why do u put primer before moisturizer ?

  • thank you

  • Thank you for your video. I really appreciate it because watching it helps girls like me know exactly what to do.

  • I was wondering. will it look bad if I, use a mouse (clay like) foundation then put a liquid foundation over it to fully seal up any acne, will that look retarted? or will it work?

  • I'll have to try that water...Good video:)

  • Girl, you are beautiful. You do NOT need makeup (:

  • You are so beautiful:) thank you for the advice and don't let anyone tell you different, your gorgeous:)

  • your so pretty!! and you explain things REALLY well. totally subscribing. btw, people that are saying mean things are idiots. they are jealous that they arent as poised and popular as you are !!!! :)

  • wearing lots of make up....perhaps that could be why your breaking out, beautiful tips but you got to give your skin a rest, otherwise you'll grow big pimples like that :-(

  • @marypaje *facepalm* she has two MOLES on her face. NOT pimples...nothing wrong with her complexion, she is lovely!

  • I personally find her features quite beautiful, but to the haters out there, your probally not any better looking then her and neither are you or any of us perfect. I think Christine's videos are very helpful and informative. <3

  • Well you've actually really helped me with my makeup, so shut the fuck up bitches she is amazing

  • got some in eye and im crying!!

  • hahaha "glowing"

  • She's pretty, what's wrong with you people?!?! >_<

  • yes your very pretty all of u need to be nice to her

  • this really helped

  • ??? I am confused.. Why are you guys saying she's not cute? A lot of people who do make up tutorials are very plain. She has great features. She also has the cutest little button nose. *Poke*

    Awww

Stop being so damn mean people. GAWSHHHHHHH!

  • Christine, i think you're really beautiful! i don't understand why anyone would have anything negative to say :( thanks for the video!

  • Your really pretty!

  • you're a lifesaver! i had been trying different techniques to apply foundation, but i found all the rest to leave my face looking cakey. the water really does make a difference! my makeup has never looked better!

  • Oh come an... just because she's not good looking doesnt mean that she didnt a great job making this video... you helped me a lot:P and u shouldnt do a nose job, ts alright just be confident about yar self lol

  • yes

  • You look so beautiful :)

  • great tutorial!

  • Comment removed

  • Some of yall are so rude. Her makeup is beautiful. So are her eyebrows. Oh yeah.. Maybe she didnt WANT to do her nose.. GET OVER IT! Apparently you liked the video since you WATCHED it.!

  • I think you did a great job with this tutorial. You are showing the basics. Great tips and great technique. Thanks

  • dont smile, you foundation will crack. you cakeface.

  • Amazing video! I really found this useful and loved the water tip with the misting and spraying the face before applying the foundation.

  • Stop being mean you idiots, this is a great tutorial

  • Looking at those spots, i dont think u should be making tutorials on how to apply foundation.

  • what the fuck you didnt put any on your nose

  • Your Eyebrows Are Uneven. :/

  • @Light19Akn ahaa:L

  • You have such great features!

  • i like the technique but i dont like how your face is so shiny.. what caused that coz i wanna skip that bit?

  • @Gingerandcoco

    probably the water

  • Actually the nrush you are using is not for foundation? Am i wrong ?

  • but ur skin is oily

  • @riley101ify They sell foundation for oily skin.

  • But in any rate, it does look good. I like the fresh, dewy look, especially with someone that has great cheak bones, like yours.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but your forehead and your foundation wouldn't be two different colors if you were using the correct shade of foundation?

  • she talks like makeupbyrenren

  • u forgot to apply foundation under ur nose area.

  • @superstar7soso people forget sometimes :P

  • @superstar7soso maybe she just didnt want to do her nose...

  • @superstar7soso do u really have to make asshole comments like that? she was showing the general process of applying foundation, god. stop being a bitch

  • @eldinaokic1 first of all i didnt make any ''asshole'' comments .. all i said is she forgot to apply the foundation under her nose just to remind her and pay attention the next time. lastly, you're the bitch for calling me a bitch for nothing. show some respect bitch.

  • @eldinaokic1 All this person did was point something out politely. How does that make them a bitch? You should chill out.

  • @YourKawaiiCute because it was a pointless and snarky comment

  • @superstar7soso you have to apply foundation only where you need, why cover skin that doesn't need it? you are NOT a make up artist.. you really think that you know more than her?

  • @asdfasdfasdfffffffff well guess what i am actually a make up artist, and btw yes u have to apply foundation ALL OVER ur face ..u cant just apply it randomly at some places..it'll look bad and u can tell there's a difference between the area where she has make up on and her bare skin. jeez just stop replying rudely on what i said like 4 months ago. its not a big deal.

  • @superstar7soso lol they got told xD

  • @superstar7soso That part was soo irritating put sum under ur nose girl lol

  • Your gorgeous with or without makeup ;)

  • your to pretty! you don't need make-up!!!!

  • @calliemacnab Fix+ is water. I love when people think it is anything more.

  • using water is just defeating the purpose of foundation....fix+is awesome...but make sure your getting a foundation that says fix+.

i would recommend the 188 foundation brush..my favorite:)

  • Your so pretty :)

  • i love your eyebrows and the shape of your eyes :)

  • her foundation makes me want to hug her face!! O_O

  • I need to wear this to a party tonight i am 14 do i have to contour and apply bronzer?

  • when applying foundation on a wet surface does it prevent the foundation from caking?? this is one of my problems please help!! thank you

  • What does that White stuff called , on 6:05

    ,

  • That white stuff really finished it OFF

  • nice job! nice demonstrating!

  • wait, so after foundation, you apply blush/bronzer... and THEN powder??

  • @amandasjoyangel you can do that so you "set" everything an dit doesn't go away that easily

  • how much is tha white powder

  • I love your eyebrows

  • looks good...I liked tha white powder i am going to try it cause i always have trouble finding the rite powder color

  • This is my second comment.. But after reading a few - I just cannot remain silent. #1) Embrace your differences...that is what makes you special & do not let uncaring comments upset you in any way!!! #2) Those Are NOT 'sideburns' , for goodness sake, people of all cultures are once again blessed with differences that make them unique. All those with critical comments: Post your photos & let us critique & pick apart YOUR photo. I am sure YOU are NOT the image of perfection! Whatever that is.

  • I thought that the foundation color was perfect for your skin --- it SHOULD match your skin like it did. The water idea was a good one. I just recently was told by my Sephora rep to use a round fluff brush instead of a flat one for foundation & wanted to see how to do it. You did a great job showing me. Thanks!

  • Tht foundation was way tooo light god get a better one n yea u didn't get ur nose?

  • what about your nose?? you forgot your nose

  • a mole

  • you look really nice xx

  • DAMNIT, I just wanted to know how to apply it, not the whole routine.

  • You need a bit of a lighter foundation. ^-^ Js, but looks good!

  • @ ALEXAA841 NO BUT UR MOM IS JAJAJJAJA

  • ever heard of proactive???

thats something you should use and do a review on (:

  • @babygurl25392 ever heard of shutup???

thats something you should do and get off this review (:

  • you're pretty

but please please please READ ME : CUT OFF THAT WEIRD HAIR ON THE SIDES OF YOUR FACE ...

  • I am the only one that is bothered that she didn't put any foundation on her nose?

  • @CarleyLoves no. i noticed it too, and it started to really bug me. she didn't put any on her upper lip either.

  • good tips but i think that shade is a tad bit too light for u......i use mac NC45 studiofix fluid but it's a tad too yellow for me but I offset it with a 50/50 ratio of mac and loreal true match in nut brown. Try using two colors to mix if u cant find an absolute perfect match. One expensive brand and one cheap one. It works really nicely

  • hi loving this video so i av sub u hope u can sub back soon,,,,,,thank u

  • @hunnybee1226 she should tuck them behind her ears

  • @hunnybee1226 WHY ARE YOU TYPING IN CAPS? ARE YOU STUPID?

  • @hunnybee1226 they're sideburns :P

  • @hunnybee1226 thats mean

  • @hunnybee1226 Why the FUCK do you have to be such a pointless dick?

  • @hunnybee1226 Everyone has hair next too there ears you dumbass, hers is just thicker. Damn you're an idiot.

  • omg! the spray your brush with a spritz or water is such a help, i tried it and it blends my foundation flawlessly. thanks!!!!

  • She didn't put any foundation on her nose

  • Excellent Explanation and very very well demonstrated! Thanks for this vid :-)

  • U have really pretty skin

  • I love that you actually NEED makeup! I hate how all the beauty gurus seem to have flawless skin 24-7 :)

  • Wow this was very helpful. thanks! :D i love your skin color :D

  • :O thats what i use :D

  • where did u buy your face primer

  • Your sideburns are weird... but i like this video :)

  • your skin is so clear!

what you say is the best product for reducing blemishes and red marks? :)

  • @littleh24 I dont know if you have oily skin or not. This advice is for acne prone oily skin. DO NOT use products that are targeted towards oily skin as they may completely strip your skin of it natural oils and cause your skin to produce even more oil. Stick to normal skin cleanser and even though it may be hard try not to pick at blemises. To hide the red spots try using a green tinted primer AKA 'color correcting primer" FYI: Oily skin means you will look younger a lot longer. :D

  • your face is really greasy. i recommend clean and clear oil paids.

  • the strobe cream was a bad idea

  • you kinda look like america farrara i think i spelt her name wrong

  • and her nose?

  • why craymer not crimer (creamer)

  • nice/ its good that someone is teaching the use of foundation with problematic skin. realistic/

  • @LagunaBeotch A simple "I didn't like this video" would have sufficed.

  • @LagunaBeotch First of all, her foundation matches and there's nothing wrong with her technique. Secondly, why did you even feel the need to make this opinion public?

  • thank you!!

  • You have the best makeup blog ever!

  • I tried this and I looked like a monster. It was all cakey and weird and looked like my face was melting or peeling off haha. I used all the same products as you so idk it just hates me.

  • @facesofmeth What do you mean ??

  • @eLtherd I mean this technique doesn't work well for me.

  • @facesofmeth The water part ?? If its that, its normal - I have to admit that its a weird technique, but if it works for her its cool^^ Plus, if you have an oily skin (just like mine :/) use just a primer (like MAC's one - which btw works great for me aka Oilest skin ever) and a liquid foundation such as Chanel Matte Lumiere or MakeUpForEver 's foundation (not the HD one, Idk the name of it) and top it w/ a setting powder. Its what Ido, and it works pretty well ^^ Hope this help somebody^^

  • Get rid of the moles and used be gorgeous. Im not trying to be rude Im just saying you would enjoy life more

  • @FilmFig LMAO funniest comment ever !! What makes you think people with ''moles'' dont ''enjoy life'' ??!!

  • @eLtherd My sister had one remove. People used to stare. Her life is just a tad bit less complicated making it more enjoyable. Just going by what I know.

  • @FilmFig I like the moles. Makes her face unique.

  • Hi! doesnt mixing foundation with water makes the foundation's staying power less than normal?

  • aaww your face is like naturally glowy and dewy !

  • This is such a helpful video :)

  • @CuteBabezAmy i do need life.otherwise i'd be dead.

  • This is soooooooo helpful! <3

  • It looks like that foundation color is lighter than your skin tone??

  • Great work!!!!! :D

  • Vey helful video..Thanks alot

  • this was a good video, u helped me apply my makeup very well:D. thankies:)!
