@jonodali what do u mean "Haunt them" typical freestate view, 6 of our counties remain under British rule it was Ok for Collins Et Al, to be men of Violence wasnt it???
Why isn't Gerry going for Taoiseach by the way? I mean this is the reason they do not feel Sinn fein should be in the Leaders debate. Whoever is running this channel, if you have any connections with the man encourage him to do so. Most people I ask say they will vote either Sinn Fein or Socialist. Joan Burton has depleted labours support since her last vincent brown performance and Enda Kenny is as literate as a hairdryer! In all seriousness though, what is the reason for not doing so?
Gerry you have my vote! I do not want to leave my beloved country! I'm 22 and my friends have all left...This is deeply upsetting but I wont leave, I believe in the community and the goodwill of others. Our sovereignty is very much under threat make no doubt about it. Even Ian Paisley himslef would hold just as much contemot for the Imf and the economic bust and booms of the Roschilds. Please young people of Ireland, I plead do a little bit of research and fight for your country and families.
i always said i'd never vote sinn fein. isn't it strange how time can change things, well, time and massive corruption amongst the three main partys. best of luck mr Adams, yee have my vote

Anywhoo... As far as i'm concerned SATAN couldn't sort the corrupt dirty country raping politician's from taking us lower than a midget limbo dancing. Don't be surprised if we have a revolution...
We have more politicians and higher wages than most countries, yet we accept it...
On Bertie's watch we had less unemployment yet we over hired public servants... *shakes fist*
Thanks for reminding people about how important it is to vote, and the sacrifices people have made in the past for the right to vote. Another example is women in the States, who chained themselves to the White House fence and went on hunger strike for the right to vote. There's a good movie about women and the right to vote in the States, called "Iron Jawed Angels." Google search the title for video clips.
at last there will be a party leader in poltics in the republic with a strong character willing to talk for the people and not the vested intrests that support all th e major parites.he and Sinn fein have shown real leardership and the ability to work with other political parties in the north.while the big parties here only enjoy throwing muck at each other....not willing to work together...
smart move on the part of SF, when a general election is called presumably next year, who knows how important SFs seats will become and no one is more of a certain seat than Gerry Adams! i would guess a lot of the hard core 'green' voters will switch to SF throughout the country. Fianna Fail and Sinn Fein for government :)
Well done Gerry! GENIUS! Hope the people of Louth vote for you with an overwhelming majority, I'm sure they would be honoured to have you represent them!

@romanking123 If you think ex-green voters are going to change to SF then you are what some would call politically naive.

@freedomisntpolitical A fair few ex-greens have joined tbh. Chris O'Leary in Cork for instance.

@damienhugh Oh I hate to be the one to tell you it's 35 billion not 35 million that's going into Anglo, not NAMA.
Nama could be a lot more!
