  • I wish to hell these dudes would get together again.

  • where the hell was i when these 3 dudes were playing together? i really screwed up not payin' attention. very interesting crazy shit ... LOVE IT!!

  • @duckswinbig 2000-2001 short run, 1 album. Bonnaroo 2006 ^

  • claypool is no sting... kidding...

  • Could Trey be anymore high?

  • Hey YT!! Where's my LOVE button?!?!?

  • oh yea and this is just as "bad" as trey gets at guitar. imagine the opiates hes on tonight:D

  • it should be trey les and fish... just sayinnnn

  • I was like "this is alright, ive seen all 3 guys doing better" until about 3:00 to 4:00 min...after which I had to pick my melted face up off the ground. Les and Trey melded together PERFECTLY.

  • i feel like trey wanted to start a jam at the end of that, but no one else was goin for it

  • @itsamesupermario haha he totally was. Les and Stu say no.

  • somg must be about george bush:)

  • @McPuffins509

EXACTAMENTE comodijo el filosofo argentino Maradona: Bush, la tenes adentro

  • @Ricardo49223 sorry ricardo, no habla:) but i get the gist of what you are saying i think;)

  • @McPuffins509

yes, i think George Bush is a great sick of war and dominion. bye

  • my soul?

  • Holy shit this is mindfucking me!

  • Quit Fighting, You guys have nothing better to do I guess; You guys sound like those idiots on those sport channels about whos the better team; Its not about the fucking team!!!! Its not about the band, Its about the MUSIC they make. K! lol,Im not commenting anymore about this silly whos dicks bigger contest, I just hope that we can all get along & lisson to the music.

  • Bonnaroo was probably not a god place for Trey to be in 2006...

  • @MrMeddled I'm sorry to say that I agree with you, this collaboration didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.

To me it seems that Les tends to blast over Treys subtleties.

  • @Markoleptic acid speed metal

  • So this disintegrated into a Primus vs. Phish debate? I don't know how you can compare such different sounds, but those claiming that Trey can't play, or is a weak link on this stage ... absurd.

So you like Primus and Les more than Phish, maybe Phish isn't your sound at all, that's fine, but you couldn't make up a stage where Trey would be a weak link ... with living or dead musicians.

  • I love sandy douches who argue on this site.....hhahahhahahhahahahahah!!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant. 'Nuff said....

  • Les is coking his balls off..............

  • this is awsome, this is good new music

  • So much talent on one stage.

  • a genius

  • mandude your the only douche here. Phish is great

  • mandude your a moron

  • Sometimes these combination's of artists from supergroups work, sometimes they don't. This was magic.

  • I never knew Copeland had such a solid rock style. Nice.

  • phish douche? open your ears, even if you dont like treys personality his guitar skills are a force to be reckoned with

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah man, you are a douche....... THIS ISN'T KEITH CARLOCK, this is Stewart Copeland - one of the best rock drummers ever.... idiot -.-

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah You know how I know you're stupid? You watched this video, then claimed that Trey Anastasio is not much of a musician. I present to you the douchebag of the day award. Congrats!!

  • @nastynate1229 Geez, you really put me in my place! Sorry for dumbing everywhere.

  • @ManDudeYeah yeahh you got fucking showd what was good, troll

  • @ManDudeYeah Trey!!? are you a fuckin retard!!?

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah youve obviously never been to a phish show lol...

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah i wasnt being a dick, i was stating the obvious that youve never been to a phish show. if you had your opinion would probably be different. trey is not the weak link. there all equal in respect to their instrument. if you knew about music you'd know that.

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah if you dont like phish you dont know music. sorry.

  • @KLove3232 "If you don't like Justin Beiber, you don't know music. Sorry" - That's you.

  • @ManDudeYeah good one champ... just keep studying you might learn something

  • @KLove3232 Whatever the hell that's supposed to mean...

  • @KLove3232 Glad you could enjoy this.

  • @ManDudeYeah i love music too lets chat!!!!!!!!!

  • @ManDudeYeah the more you speak, the more your intelligence about music really shows. if you knew anything about music you would know that phish are one of the few bands that are classically trained. get a clue you beatnick trustafarian

  • Comment removed

  • @ManDudeYeah I completely agree with him, after hearing you talk, it shows that you really have no clue what the fuck your talking about. Trey Anastasio is a musical genius, get fucked you fagget and open up your ears. Its people like you that ruin the scene

  • @ManDudeYeah you should be fucking slapped in the face, idiot

  • It was a les claypool idea...

  • i like oysterhead live, its so much jamming sooo cool!!!

  • Great job by Stewart in keeping the groove going when Les wasn't ready.

Plus we got to see Stewie go off for a bit!

  • I love this song. excellent.

  • keep in mind at this point in the show they had just finished a two hour set, ithe lognest set i've ever played was an hour and i was beat after THAT

  • les isnt really into it at all

  • I was at this show, and i would agree... to some extent... i think he's really into what he's doing, cuz he's a person that does what needs to be done - a true professional - but, i think at this point in the show he has something else that is very serious on his mind.

  • And Les IS very synced in the moment - in his own human way... and it's important to note that Les can still play so sickly when thinking about so many other things... And i've seen Les before when he WAS into what he was doing ('rusa '09) and it the performance was kinda boring, and i've seen times when Les didn't seem into what he was doin ('rusa '07) and he rocked it... Strange man... OH! AND! YEA! THIS SHOW KICKED ASS! No matter whatever the fuck was goin on in the performers' heads!AWESOME!

  • I was at the show, too. It was also like seven hundred degrees that day. Awesome show.

  • I've visualized musical combinations like for years, and now fate has decided to smile favorably upon me. Long live the Anastasio facial expressions!

  • The ONLY thing I dislike about Trey is that he doesn't sing "into" the microphone. You often hear the volume of his voice increase and decrease by a noticeable amount because hes moving all around the mic. Anywho...I think this is THE BEST "superband" EVER! Mindblowing

  • its prolly pretty difficult to rip the most amazing riffs imaginable and sing at the same time... but i do kno wat u mean

  • and he definitely does rip it!! lol

  • Whoever had the idea of putting the guitarist from phish the drummer from the police and then the bass from primus was undoubtedly a genius.

  • so true... for this particular style there is absolutely no better way to fill the shoes.

  • it was Les' idea to play with trey, because he liked his style, and trey was nterested in working with les, so it worked out. they got stewart copeland because both les and trey dug his style, asked stewart to work with them, and he agreed to work with them. genius indeed

  • @Thenazz311 i imagine it was a choir of angels coming down with divine inspiriation. if you play it..it will rock.

  • @Thenazz311 It was Claypool! I just happened to go look them up on Wikipedia as well :)

  • so much better than primus

  • agree

  • disagree

  • I AM PETER PAN AT THE MOMENT

  • ill try my best i love les claypool he isnpires me in life as well as music and i love all of his bands

  • @go2illa Same. Ever since i saw him live, i cant stop trying to act like him. Plus I met him in person after the show which was awesome.

  • i dont have a child of my owwn

    I OWNNNNN THE WOOOOORRLLLLDDDDDDD

    I WILL KEEP IT FRESH

  • drums are good

  • you´re talking about Stewart Copeland. Listen some of Police early live records...

  • les looks pissed in this song... and he was nowhere to be seen after the song?

    Nonetheless, this trio is inspiring

  • why the ask the question in the form of a question so then have answer to the question?!

    i dont know.

  • What did Les say at the begining? My sound went out

  • no- the video's audio cut out

  • Their encore was amazing. The sky just had this really weird look to it, but it fit this wonderful show

  • Anyone notice stewart count this song one second after les put his bass on cuz of the joke? Pure stewart spite.

  • SECOND. BEST. 3-MAN. EVER.

    Thanks, EQ ;)

  • just great...this is my favorite of the oysterhead tunes...along with "oz"...

  • Cracks me up... people analyzing the quality of the music, lyrics, singing. Its well established that these guys are talented, so whats the debate? So entertaining to watch them play together- so loose and careless. Cant beat it.

  • Umm.. first of all its your opinion that punk isnt good. But im sure there are millions of punk fans who enjoy it to no end... so your entitled to your opinion but just relize music is about being creative so just cause you dont like a certain kind doesnt give you the right to say that different kinds of music you dont like sucks. And im not saying that being popular makes you good but being a creative genious that the band phish was makes trey amazing at music

  • I like trey's singing. I actually think he's kinda good.

  • you just dont like trey's voice. Obviously he must be a great singer and songwriter and guitarist if he made a band as popular and well known as phish

  • He is amazing, but just because you're popular DOESN'T mean you're good. Just look at punk music...

  • 3 Amazing musicians on one stage...You cant beat it..

  • Anyone got a studio version?

  • yup. where you located.

  • love watching stewart play

  • Les is master!!!!!

  • He sounded bad in this song, must've been having an off day. Usually he sounds really nice.

  • Trey isn't much of a singer. His skill is in playing guitar.

It's so much of what was wrong with that "hippie jam band" scene. Lousy singers. Just like Dave Matthews. Intolerable.

  • Yeah but who cares, listen to the lyrics and music

  • Dave Matthews has an incredible voice!!!!!!!

  • amen...i love the #41 scream!

  • Trey sucks at singing almost as much as Dave Matthews does.

  • You again.

  • Froggy went a courtin' he did so ah-huh.

  • um no

    this was spontaneous.

  • hahahaha!!! i love les... "who wants to see stewart take his clothes off in front of you as well?"

    um, me, that's who!
