There was a sub-tropical storm in October the NHC didn't even see till they looked back on the season. This storm formed from an upper level trough causing a surface low to develope and the formation of a cyclone. That means Vince actually should of been Tammy, Wilma should of been Vince, Alpha should of been Wilma, Beta should of been Alpha, Gamma should of beeb Beta, Delta should of been Gamma, Epsilon should of been Delta Zeta should of been Epsilon. and one other name should of been Zeta.
WoW! This is a great video. THanks so much for posting this. I am an 8th grade Earth Science teacher. I showed this to my classes today and it was a hit. Thanks so much!
does anyone no where u can find one of these maps other than youtube? I love looking at hurricanes and find it interesting to c loops like these ones on the weather channel when they show them but would find it helpful if someone could tell me where to find one of these satellite maps. Help!
Thanks. I downloaded the individual images from the GOES archive, stitched them together in Quicktime, then added music and overlay text with iMovie. There's a lot of frames missing, unfortunately. After I posted this I saw that there were several others on youTube with the same theme, check those out as well.
Wow, this hurricane is the most active

that was cool. I'm trying to find a loop of the 1995 season, that was the best summer for surf North Carolina has ever had.
