  • Thats really not that impressive...idk why youd ever want to watch 2-4 movies/videos at once in tiny squares..

  • @WakingLife55

wow arent you retarted.......its playing 4 movies to show how powerful the processors is. not for retail. my god did you just fall out of the dumb tree.

  • the guy wanna kill him but he doesnt wanna look bad cause that is his job to answer idiots like this but this guy i swear i would love to leave my job just to punch him and spit in his face

  • Does Qualcomm make phones?

  • @ltsStevenT

No. They do smartphone platforms (motherboard+RAM+CPU) like system-on-a-chip (SoC) or single-board-computer (SBC) then Sony, Nokia, LG etc buy that and use that to make phones with.

  • @Frap357 I see

  • @ltsStevenT no prossesors

  • umm....... did he imply that 3d type interfaces are already possible on todays phones? or that its only possible with this new chipset configuration? either way, we need more 3d type menus and interfaces. why the f*ck dont we have them already?

  • is this gonna be put in the T-mobile G2?

  • dude, take a hands off approach next time and let the people working for the company do the talking.

  • The interviewer is so annoying.

  • @carloswithac he has no idea what is going on in the whole building like he just stepped out of a cave and is like...and you can also call other ppl on these "phones"? he knows the phone terms but asked really dumb questions..like, "is this your user interface? are you going to put this on phones? / he is asking that to a processor manufacture, come on!

  • 1.2 ghz.. dualcore..

how long ago was it when that was normal for a pc

(i realise that the FSB, cache, etc are comparably useless, but never the less..WOW)

but what about the battery life? man, ought to have a battery the size of a water melon.

  • the day i care that much about a cell phone is the day i will personally hand my balls back to god.

  • ı dont lıke it: (

  • the interviewer is a cunt

  • Dum gay : Wow looky looky what we have ?

  • This guy is so farking funny , especially on the bubble thingy and it looks like he never seen a friggin phone be4

  • You're right, The interviewer knew nothing about Super Smartphone technology. He talked fast and asked annoying mumbo-jumbo statistics about speed, divx, bit rate? All you need to know is Scorpion processor 1.5Ghz, 4.3 Amoled screen, HDMI port, 1080p, android 2.2 multi-touch, 4G phone, 30fps, dual camera front and back (holler!).

  • @Asure007

I completely agree with you. The interviewer was very annoying. As for the future of android, I'm very exited and glad I switched to the g1 from the iphone. And now I got the nexus one. SWEEEEEET.

  • Much respect for the Qualcomm representative. He knows exactly what he is talking about. The interviewer however, does not ask smart questions, jumps topic and speaks as if he is OD'ing on speed. Offcourse a 1GHZ could emulate N64 or run MAME.. and they make the CPU, not the phones. Tip: Talk slower, ask relevant questions and show respect for the staff that stands on these fairs.. they might have been in a bad hotel fly all over the world, work all day and then get pestered by you as a reward:)

  • @Asure007

Think you read my mind on that word for word.

  • i swear......the HTC HD3 better come out for AT&T.

  • Ok!! now i see your point. I would have shot the interviewer.. This guy is a nag. I would have told him to get away from my table. Dezammn!!! As for the new smart phones/Android,,SICK.. The best i ever seen, ridiculous! Perhaps by the holidays?

  • HDMI cool

  • is this 1,5 GHz ?

  • no..1 GHz..like Sony Xperia x10 ;)

  • This guy is very very annoying

He is like annoying orange he just forgot saying hey hey hahahahaha

  • At least this guy seems to know what he is talking about, unlike most demonstrators..

  • This is a processor!!!

  • OMG this interviewr is so freaking annoying. that poor demonstrator guys was so patient with him

  • This interviewing dude is sooo annoying. if I was in tht demonstrator's place , I wud have punched his face so hard that he wouldn't do anymore interviews!!!

  • @venom4scorpio lol

  • He's horny!

  • can someone do a video on how to get the cool UI for those like for the droid

  • this dude is like he has never seen a phone

  • end of Iphone era? ;)

  • @MrLuhjit, I agree with you. His English doesn't bother me too much, although he isn't capable of doing a proper interview. On being impatient and toying around with the devices, I completely agree.

  • No offense to the interviewer, but being that he is obviously foreign and doesn't speak fluent English I don't think he should be interviewing people... Flame me all you want, but if you look at other videos posted on lockergnome where he is interviewing they are always put in awkward situations because of his English. He also handles the products like they are toys, slinging them around and not being patient with them... Just my opinion.

  • @MrLuhjit I make people nervous cause I ask the tough questions. This is not red carpet interviews on clothing, although I'd enjoy interviewing film stars if I could get the media pass.

  • @Charbax Oh, I see... I didn't mean to offend you or anything, just expressing what I thought. And good luck with the red carpet media pass! lol

  • i thnk this could beat the iphone!!

  • This is pretty close to the quality of the iphone. I mean it some useless crap like the moving home screen but besides that it looks like it moves pretty smoothly.

  • @demonrockgod it's just to show off what the processor can do -_-

  • you know this isn't a production phone at all, right?

  • Hows that Apple slave controlled market? Hows the open source OS? Fail.

    Android Win

  • android phones did.

    fail

  • Win.

  • lol hater

  • I agree with Chris, this reveals what the new super phones (aka Windows Phones) will have come 2010 holiday season.

Here I thought the HD2 coming out next month at T-Mobile was the hot phone, at least until next year.

Nope, looks like this next gen Snapdragon will be THE phone to have.

What I really like is the one device showing an HDMI connection. Will the Windows Phones have an HDMI port, to which I can connect to a flat panel and play full HD (720p) movies? Woot!

  • That guy was like "do u know anything about why I am here today sir?" he was looking into the camera app on a never gunna be device..wow, clueless interviewer...but good demos and good demo'er

  • My impression is that the Qualcomm guy was very patient and the interviewer was acting like he was a total spy for a competitor.

I'm sure everyone sends out their agents to spy on each other.

  • omg now i gotta return my N1 because is going to be outdated?? LOL

  • That's pretty much how it's always been with technology. Buy something awesome today be outdated by tomorrow.

  • I hear ya man

  • wow i have never seen him comment on his own videos

  • wow . the screen is nothing compared to the huge cellphone border

  • lmao!!!! i have 90's Qualcomm cell phone made by them

  • so...how useful is watching 4 videos at the same time?

  • @thefuf99 Hes just trying to show how the phones dont lag and play in high quality....

  • Ever heard of a benchmark?

  • IMHO, not very. It looks cool, but in the real world, no and you got to think about battery life here. Disclaimer: I got an iPhone 3GS.

  • wow thats the greatest graphics i've ever seen on a smartphone

  • the guy asking questions knows noothing!, the guy answering is trying his hardest to not bitch at the guy for acting like he knows shit

  • i can do zis!

  • WOW, WOW, WOW!

  • you can even tell that the guy working for qualcomm is getting annoyed with this dumbass

  • I hate this guy interviewing he's so damn annoying.

  • lol, u suc~

  • @macintipz - Charbax is French, dumbass. And lest you think you can get away with another slur, you're now blocked from this channel. Paste your hatred elsewhere.

  • @lockergnome

The only way to win against a troll is not to play. Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.

  • hate to be a doucher, but you spelled "least" wrong... I just had to because you are such a grammar cop :P

  • @BeatlesFan32 - I spelled "lest" correctly. Lest you believe I'm wrong, I'd back down.

  • well then.. I'm am clearly not familiar with that word, and while it kinda made me feel like a dumbass, I still feel accomplished for getting a response from Chris Pirillo... time to screen-shot this and print it out for my wall, if only it could have been on happier terms.

  • @BeatlesFan32

    Oh dear. Deary deary me.

  • @BeatlesFan32 - I do make mistakes every so often. This just wasn't one of 'em. :)

  • @lockergnome Finally. He posted other hatred things. ;)

  • this guy has a dildo up his ass. closed, secretive and totally unfriendly.

  • after months of use, it's gonna lag like hell.

  • Eh... why would it become slower?

  • @thefuf99 Very! I never can choice what for film i want to watch. ;)

  • It is to demonstrate the processing power... -_-

  • @matteuklol thats pretty cool u got to admit

  • lol its not a phone and the guy said in the video they are prototype devices to demonstrate the power of the new chipset

  • seriously the ont thing that bugs me is fuckin morons who comment 'first' - does anyone care ????? even worse - people u comment 4th, 5th etc

    why???????

    idiot teenagers

  • I do.. and why do you assume that they're teenagers? Idiot...

  • omfg i need this fucking phone!!!!!

  • HDMI output on a smartphone is pretty snazzy

  • WOW! that looks soo good! Any idea when we will start seeing the Scorpion Processor on smartphones (Android)?

  • better than iphone/ipod touch?

  • much better but the phone bill and the phone its self is gonna be a fucking outrageous price

  • Can someone please tell me what's the point of watching 4movies at the same time?

  • @StixProd

That was just a demonstration showing how it can handle 4 movies playing at the same time. Fast Processor.

  • It's a demo. One could ask your question about TV car commercials.

Do you ask "Can someone please tell me what's the point of driving a car up a steep Grand Canyon cliff?"

    or

"Can someone tell me what's the point of driving my car 90 mph on city streets?"

You don't see any signs that say "Watch 4 movies at once." Do you? LOL.

    Understand now?

  • wow the guy asking the questions was being rude at times, the rep was getting annoyed, he was doing this with the phones that they didn't want and kept asking somewhat irrelevant questions, heck he even crashed there browser trying to full screen youtube!

  • That looks like the guy from the Conan O'Brian show.

  • it's like a tiny computer... :O

  • tecnology crap because they always need to improve it so much lol

  • @VivaRonnieG Why are you on a computer thn if it's so crap? dickhead

  • i got a 100$ phone that doesnt even have a camera in it, just makes calls, and i have a life, all u really need

  • a phone that only makes calls are 0-10 bucks..why is yours 100?

  • your talking about phones that come with a plan, i didnt buy mine with a plan, phones without plans cost a minimum of 80-100$, gotta use your brain my friend.

  • Looks very slow and the screen isen't that responsive

  • how can u say that??

  • That's how pretty much every prototype shown at convensions like MWC are like.

  • By the looks of it, the touchscreen seems rather fiddly. :/

  • I think it's just the video player software they use. It seems like you have to press once to get the menu, then again to pause, then again for menu, then again for play.

  • It's not about the phone it's about the fact that the processor can handle playing four movies at once, and also playing HD.

  • If only the wireless networks could keep up with advances in handset design. We can have all these great features in hardware, but still have to suck down data on unreliable, slow carrier networks.

  • why i want to watch 4 video simultaneously?

  • It's a showcase of power.

  • wow i am going to hold off buying a phone for now and jsut wait for phones to start useing this

  • Wow, that's really powerful hardware.

  • Good Video Guys

  • @The0Truths The touch screen looked fine...

  • Thats because the screen looked fine. There was nothing wrong with it.

  • @The0Truths lol big time.

  • yuuuurraa trooolll

  • hah

  • : D

  • So what's you're next phone going to be Chris?

  • @MKL257 BlackBerry Storm II

  • Cool

  • Comment removed

  • @sonny899 (it was not chris)

  • Ha ha ha, based on your moronic "first" post I blocked you from all my videos.

  • sry... There was a guy before me!
