I recall seeing this as a child and found it disturbing even then. The animation is terrible, and not in a naive and charming way either.

I don't remember whether I liked this or not back in the day. I recall not liking the cats because I thought they were ugly. However just imagine your typical wrestling event for why people would crowd a stadium to watch this. I think I would. :-)

@panda374 Never said it was true. In fact it is one of the biggest myths we are taught in our youth. I happen to know that not only cats and dogs can get along, but actually most dog breeds are actually afraid of cats.

A rather stupid clip, it must be said. Apart from spelling the word 'dog', it's a rather crude clip. Not saying that all has to be nicey-nice but this just feels stupid to me.

I suggest you put yourself in the mindset of a 6 or 7 year old. Then you might not think it stupid and crude. Some things are not meant to be analyzed, just enjoyed for what they are. Children do that al the time.

The dog hates cat thing is worng. Yes some dogs may do this either the dog is mean or doesn't like the cat or had a bad experence with one. However, I once had a dog and some cats and they got along just fine.
