  • awesome!

i've never heard this track before, kind of alman- esque in a way, yet still original.

    these boys rock!!

  • what kinda of guitar is he playing? is that g&l??

  • @JKryanX that's a Robin Texas Rawhide

  • I love this song. Improves a mood every time!

  • Good. This is good. This is real, real good. One of the best rhythm sections I've ever heard. Can't get enough of this song. :)

  • just saw nma i was very impressed i have seen the best of the best and these guys are right up there

  • Wow. These guys are great!

  • What about the Bass ?? ...a maestro!!!

  • i miss dwayne!

  • NMA!!!!!!

  • i just saw em live, I have never really realized how great they really were until I did. Great band, I will be seeing them again in the future.

  • does neone know where they played this?

  • This was played in New Hampshire in 2005. It is includeed on their new DVD, Keep on Marching, available through the NMA website.

  • Who's been around longer, Luther Dickinson or Derek Trucks? I think both learned to play from the same master somewhere along the line, which extends directly from Duane Allman, IMHO.

  • They learned from their dad, Jim Dickinson, playing blues since the 50's.

  • Jim dickinson wrote songs for the Allmand brothers band

  • I think they have been playing live for the same amount of time, Trucks is 28 and Luther is like 31 or 32 maybe. They both started early, but learned from completely different people. Trucks was Duane but Luther learned from Mississippi Delta Blues guys and just tought himself the rest, which is remarkable if you think about how good he is. Either way I love both of them.

  • Oh yeah! Great intro to this song including Luther's opening solo.. but for you drummers out there listen to Cody put about 30 seconds of "hillbilly Keith Moon" wup-ass down starting at about 7:53. Just killer.

  • excellent observation

  • thats my boys !!

  • fantastic!
