Awesome hack, but why just one core and why clocked so damn low?? lol, bummer, but the potential is there I bet to use the super-computer power this machine has, though the low memory for general purpose use would make it a bit slow/held back to current PC standards, but besides the low memory all cores full bore would turn this hardware into one hell of a desktop PC!

Sorry, this isn't a live cd, it's installed to the hard drive.
I booted into gentoo, and then I laucnhed into a terminal, and ran the script to install Ubuntu 7.10 from free60. (I had to make a few corrections to that article lol)
You will be overwriting everything onto that hard drive, which is why I just got a USB stick for all my Microsoft save data and what not. Though I hardly play games on it, I have 2 other 360s for that :P (Which can go on live, not modded)
@Samey44 Oh and I use a CD to tell the 360 to boot from the hard drive. It's called the SDA2 disc. (Meaning boot off the SDA2 partition on your hard drive)

Not even a chance at all, it's a powerpc(as in it can't run x86 programs) with no graphics acceleration.

What image file do you use for ubuntu? i cant seem to get any to actually just load it as a live CD, like i see in videos
