I still have this in VHS in swedish language... Didn't know there was 31 episode as I thought he would never find his mother... thank god there is Internet nowadays. (Sweden only released 3 or 4 episode, the last one was about the Buddha statue).

Was it in Swedish? Anyways as I watched it not long time ago (well I still have a VHS XD) I realised how the translation really sound ridiculus but in a charming way :D.

What I can find (and from other Swedish people online) said, this is probably the only VHS tape they ever released in Swedish, they mixed and matched the show from different episode I guess, it was. The first very episode, the baseball episode and finally the Buddha statue. It was shown in one whole streak without break or title music.

Actually, Sci-Fi bokhandeln had those episodes on 1 DVD and a second DCD translated by the same people. I don't remember the episodes names, but one had Panda's being kidnapped in one of them.

So at least 3 more episodes dubbed to swedish exist apart from that first VHS.

this show came out before the SUPER SENTAI SERIES i think it came out in '73. GoRanger came out in '75

Sorrry to say this, but Sweden only got 10 of 31 episodes. You can buy two DVDs on Ginza and CDON, but that's as much as I know...

I'm not sure there ever was an English version of Balatack. I remember watching it with Swedish dubs as a kid with fond memories. This thing is unbelievably rare these days, it seems.

Another under-rated super robot coz it was not hyped in publicity during it showing in the late '70's, but in my opinion.... this mecha kicks ass, specially against the enemy robots!!! definitely one of the best mecha series.

well.. trust me when i say it is not easy... in sweden only two tapes were ever released and not even people who are in to Giga mech series know much about Balatack... I have tried to no avail to get a hold of more, it would seem like it is a footnote in history... Still.. it was a funny and entertaining show..
