Hey dude how large is file (i clicked on 1 hd but it gave me 3gb, and i was like omg) plzz tell me quick cuz i need to upload a gameplay of saboteur part 2 hd quick and im using unregistered xlisoft, it gives me a hd video but it dont proces whole file, thats whuy for example vid before compresion is 9min long and it gives me 5 or 4 min of it, and not whole video.

@JoeToTheMaxxxx Actually it does work. It also depends on the quality of the clips you're using. If the quality is really bad then when you upload it to youtube, you'll just be able to get HQ at best.

depends on the content in it. If you just have a blank screen then ovbiusly it wont take a lot of memory but if you have a lot of media in it, it would take around 250 Mbs. But an average 10 min HD 1080i Vid would take up somewhere from 125-200 or so Mbs

I have Sony 8.0 and tried the properties and looked for the HD settings as shown in your video and didn't have a long list of video settings but only eight. None of them mentioning any HD settings. I even tried manually changing the settings to 1280-X720 only to have the numbers automatically readjust back to 800X600. Is there some type of default setting on preventing me from enabling HD settings on my end?

@Rlin06 Yeah, feel like an idiot. I asked around if Home Studio (the version I had) enabled the featured and it turned out only Platinum and Pro carried that feature. Ended up just getting Vegas Pro 9 then followed your steps, and it worked :D

By render i mean to like finalize the video. AS you may see, the Sony Vegas Video file is small. This is because it doesn't have a copy of all the media in it. It just has links to where you put the media on your computer. If you delete the media on your computer the Sony Vegas Video file wont work. So rendering is to put all the media in the video so it is not dependent on your computer files to run the video.

You probably uploaded the Vegas file. When you finishing making your video you can not just save the file and upload it onto Youtube. You have to go to file then click render. Then after you render you then can upload the video onto Youtube. The render feature is the same as the publish button in Windows Movie Maker. .WMV is the best extension for Youtube as it gives the best quality and sound.

well i did the exact steps as you i did everything like yours even the small things. it took about at least 20 - 30 minutes to render and it took about 4 - 5 minutes to upload until it said error

It should have taken longer to upload, I believe that it did not upload fully. Something similar happened to me this morning when I tried to upload my MMV. I uploaded it for a while and I accidentally pressed lock computer. When I logged back into my computer it said there was an unidentified error. I believe this was caused because the internet connection was stopped for a while. When you upload a video your computer has to be connected to the internet at all times. I think that's what happened
