hey i just flashed a droid x to cricket you have to have at least the 55 dollar plan to get apps. and it works great i have not had a problem if you have any questions let me no i might be help ful

OK, we all get it!.. It can be done, android phones are the shit! but nobobys doing a how to video. (sucks) Same thing with the sprint evo to boostmobile Theirs a ton of videos showing off, and they want to charge you big$ to do this for you! its amazing for far greed trickles down from the corporate world. I'm gonna see if I can find out how its done even if I gotta pay someone and then post a how to video! if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

@TallStarlite you have to go to a Cricket store so they can "Flash" it for you. I just talked to a Cricket representative online and thats what they said to do. They wouldnt tell me the price for flashing it though. :(

Hey. I flashed this phone to metro pcs and i noticed the phone dies hellaaaa fast. On top of that I only get 2 bars max at my house. All other metro phones I owned I got full bars. You experiencing any of these issues? and what are the negatives you have?

yes all apps work. on the 45$ plan, u get about 700-800 kbps download speed, on the 55$ plan, u get 1.2 mbps download :)

@furiousracer313 Overwriting the .PRL file and a couple of other settings. . PRL files tell the phone what network to connect to and how to connect? Doing an upgrade or a factory reset restores all settings back to normal though. . .

@NiharNeelakaniti I'm a be posting a Video soon with all the LINKZ on how to first of all upgrade to froyo (Android 2.2), install flash, and root the fucking thang so you don't get fuZked with auto moto updates. . . I just got to get around to doi'n it. . . But will do within a month. . .

@statelesswarrior I'll be doin it because I hate pissin away $35 to fooking flashers so just a matter of changing the .ptl file (PTL file changes how the phone connects to a network ie; Verizon, Cricket, AT&T. Too much to go into here in commentary but I had seen some partial Vid's who did a half assed job explaining so that's why I'll cover it 100 % percent in the Vid I'll make. . .
