  • Jim Breaks a great entertainer and comic, but a piss-poor wrestler.could only foul and go for submission holds ,but box office.the one they loved to hate

  • they should show these classic Brit Wrestling in New York on TV, besides watch'n the crap we see over here!..4give me if i offended anyone!..jus my honest opinion. x0O

  • @tornmask What is the main difference you see between the two? For me in matches like this it seems they are actually trying to win an athletic contest against one another, more so than for example matches in the WWE, even though we both know that the outcome of the match is pre-determined.

  • Saterday Afternoon,I thought The amazing kung fu was a man he iisnt.

  • @bbhlfc I saw him in Canaria in 2003 when we went to the hotel...He used to be my late dad's favourite wrestler...I went and shook his hand and had a few words about the old days...He was a real gentleman...Did you know you can get British wrestleling on Free Sat on channel 143 most afternoons and all Saturday afternoons..BRILLIANT...

  • Its all about submissions and counters in British wrestling. Chain wrestling can be part of it but the traditional British wrestling catch-as-catch-can style was heavilly influenced by George Kidd who was the greatest submission and counter wrestler of the post-WWII era.

It's not as eye-catching or as fast paced as other styles but its still incredibly skillfull. It's not to everyone's taste but then few people like every wrestling style.

  • fai enough. I think I'll give it another watch with that in mind.
