@Lucyrules1999 The cowboy wasn't actually ON the horse. He was hanging on to the cantle or tail. All horses swim like that and most enjoy it. Swimming is good for a horse and the wieght of the rider doesn't make a difference as long as they are positioned right.

It's funny people call abuse on every animal video they see. I TRY for a wet pad when I'm riding, means we got a good workout. As far as wet leather, OMG, you mean a cowboy can't ride in the rain? A horse can't sweat? Stop being idiots and jabbering about what you know nothing about. Swimming is a great conditioning exercise for horses (and people!). How is keeping your horse fit and in shape, abusive?

My horse Copper was being ridden by my friend and she was walking around the pond and my horse got in drank some water then tried going swimming thank goodness my mom was there to help her.

Swimming is great for a horses joints. I take my 23 year old 13hh pony swimming all the time and his joints are great for several weeks after just one swim.

swimming is actually a type of therapy vets sometimes use on horses that have been injured. It's very good for them. and Mustangs swim in cold water all the time. It's also good descensitizing :)

Most horses love water, and if you look closely one the horse went right away with no sign of fear, and two it was in really nice shape...well taken care of. They were not torchuring that horse. Really guys horses can get hurt in the pasture or out on the range...what will u do about that? Kill them all so they never get hurt?

Ya after the fun wore off I got to thinkin about the saddle..?..? It was brand new too just bought it about a month before this ride!! I spent a few hours and some good leather conditioner.. seems ok now...future swims will be bareback or I will buy one of those cheap plastic saddles..
