Consider that in 2006 only 8 million vehicles were sold in the U.S., divide that by 22 SUVs per load equals 363,363 loads; at an average move of 5 days, then the train cars can be parked for the remainder 360 days of the year! an amtrack conductor told me they havnt chipped cars or apliances by rail for thirty years. it all gets sahipped by truck now. trains only haul comodities and military. a car dealer told me the same thing. cars dont get shipped by rail. somthing i saw all the time when i was a child. now i see cars on trucks every day.

well, i sure as heck would love to see you guys really show me a TRUE AUTO MAX emepty, and not that crummy auto light cars built by thrall, now, i worked for gundersons for almost 9 years, building automaxs myself, and i know that we didnt build that many of the things, and on top of that, these cars can only be ran on tracks that have the hight clearence for the things, heck, we had problems the first time we put them out in the yard here in PORTLAND OREGON, SO NO THERE NOT GOVERMENT.
I've read all these comments and, all I can say is that I have regularly watched freight trains with autorack cars (the old open style) and I have yet to see a single autorack car that contained a motor vehicle, or anything else! The trains run back and forth each day with EMPTY cars! Are the "powers that be" trying to get us accustomed to seeing these autorack trains and believing that they are transporting motor vehicles??? Show me an Auto-Max car with something in it!! They're empty!!
Easy. Google "Autorack Loading" and click the first link that says "Dan's Train Blog, autorack loading yard in Point Richmond..." You can look at still photographs of a couple trains being loaded, as well as read how long the process takes, and what types of cars are loaded where. The pictures are taken through a telephoto lens, from a high viewpoint on a nearby hill.

Boy you folks take the cake. These are private cars, owned or leased by the railroads which use them. Gunderson, did not build them for any Government. Just look at the equipment trusts, and lease agreements. And under law, they may NOT be confiscated by the Government without cause, because they are private property. They aren't airtight. The old ones were totally open and the covered them with panels to keep rocks and shit from hitting the cars they were transporting. The panels used to have holes all over them, but the paint from the graffiti would still get on the cars inside of them.
Now Gunderson makes the AUTOMAX which has less holes to combat that problem, but they still aren't airtight.
A refer car would be better suited to transporting dead bodies rather then these.

I saw a 30 car "FEMA train" this weekend. I parked my car and walked beside them. I'll tell you one thing, they won't hold many "shackled" people. Reason? They were chock full of new cars!!

well, i sure as heck would love to see you guys really show me a TRUE AUTO MAX emepty, and not that crummy auto light cars built by thrall, now, i worked for gundersons for almost 9 years, building automaxs myself, and i know that we didnt build that many of the things, and on top of that, these cars can only be ran on tracks that have the hight clearence for the things, heck, we had problems the first time we put them out in the yard here in PORTLAND OREGON, SO NO THERE NOT GOVERMENT.

I've read all these comments and, all I can say is that I have regularly watched freight trains with autorack cars (the old open style) and I have yet to see a single autorack car that contained a motor vehicle, or anything else! The trains run back and forth each day with EMPTY cars! Are the "powers that be" trying to get us accustomed to seeing these autorack trains and believing that they are transporting motor vehicles??? Show me an Auto-Max car with something in it!! They're empty!!

Easy. Google "Autorack Loading" and click the first link that says "Dan's Train Blog, autorack loading yard in Point Richmond..." You can look at still photographs of a couple trains being loaded, as well as read how long the process takes, and what types of cars are loaded where. The pictures are taken through a telephoto lens, from a high viewpoint on a nearby hill.

I saw benches and chains in another video of these trains. This video, which sounds so lame and fake shows no benches or chains.......I guess a little alteration goes along way. I wish I would have seen the cars ride up on benches and then be chained with thick chains. ...but the tribulation prophesied in the bible will come to pass and there is no stopping it. Yet we are to do exploits.

Boy you folks take the cake. These are private cars, owned or leased by the railroads which use them. Gunderson, did not build them for any Government. Just look at the equipment trusts, and lease agreements. And under law, they may NOT be confiscated by the Government without cause, because they are private property. It would take an act of congress to do so.
Let me give you some advice, examine the obvious, and not just make up things.

What do you think they are going to print in big letters on the side of these things "CONCENTRATION CAMP OR BUST" If you do your research, you'll find that "Gunderson" was under U.S. Government contract to build these things. Also you will find testimonials of steel workers, working in the factories where these things were built and find that indeed they are intended for human transportation. They used trains in Germany for Jews and they'll do it here to us too.

People get confused. The argument is not whether those trains could be used by FEMA. Of course they could, just like a Greyhound bus could be. The problem is the legislation that states it would be an option of the government to use them in such a manner. If there was no legislation allowing for suspension of constitutional rights then the trains wouldn't matter. Be concerned about the law and fight that. Cattle trailers could be used by FEMA. The problem is the law that would allow it.

Just a thought, maybe there would be signs exiting you all to a train site (NO ESCAPE) into one of these cars to be transported to a gassing then incineration is a possibility. My question to this is what are they going to do with all of the cars?

Why on Earth would you need it to be protective of airborne contaminates. Remember. If air can't get it, then it can't get out either. What a perfect solution to transporting masses of dead people in.

They aren't airtight. The old ones were totally open and the covered them with panels to keep rocks and shit from hitting the cars they were transporting. The panels used to have holes all over them, but the paint from the graffiti would still get on the cars inside of them.
Now Gunderson makes the AUTOMAX which has less holes to combat that problem, but they still aren't airtight.
A refer car would be better suited to transporting dead bodies rather then these.
