  • Albanians copy a lot because their culture ..and I use the word very losely is very new to the scene...they are mostly made up of Turks and gypsies after the first world war..I feel sorry for them..but ..oh well....

  • Actually I read in wiki that Albanians are Illyrian descendants but when the Ancient Greeks invaded their land the Greek culture influenced the Illyrians so in a way they did copy it but coz the Greeks controlled the land for hundreds of year.I`ve seen Turkish dance and Albanian dance is different from the Turkish dance its also different from the Gypsy.Albania has one of the less Gypsies in Europe as it said on wikipedia. But anyways very nice dance.

  • The clothes looks like Albanian traditional clothes same with the music and dance.Very nice dance though.

  • Sounds kind of Turkish...

  • hey..can you help me!!! what is the title of the music...i really need to know it for our dance show...plz help me... tnx

  • i like the music, but the dnce not too much-..it´s dull..i prefer other types of adances..like my country´s ..check out PERUVIAN DANCES!

  • a woman wearing a man's jacket???

    blasphemy! lol

  • yeah actually it's a man jacket which used to be worn in the western part of Turkey. we call it 'cepken'. but i have seen that is worn by women in some countries.

  • n'aber abi... yes, in made up cultures like the Greek one.

Kurdish women can start using ripped baggy jeans and Timberland shoes as well.

  • Made up cultures ? That is rich coming from a Albanian Turk, because you are of course reminants of Turkish left overs ! And you dare to use the Greek word of Epirus in your name !!!

  • hey the costumes and dances are 100% not albanian and turkish .Greece has a g good and big colection of costumes that you don`t ever know about in Ipiro exists a few tipes I thinck 20 kind of costumes you don`t now about them end then don`t speak fulish things

  • the song and dance are cypriot but their costumes are wrong

  • Costumes are Albanian

  • syrto is my favorite greek song that and zorba. i come from argostoli kefelonia and we would celebrate with this dance. HOPA

  • Very traditional Greek dance, we implemt some of the steps and turns in our entrance as well. Opa, it was a good dance, elegant and smooth. Yasaas!

  • its albanian from CAMERIA and you may called anything you want. the fact will stand because the clothes and the song are ALBANIAN =)))) VIVA LA ALBANIA!

  • dude this song is from cyprus psintri vassilichia mou idk why they aret wearing the corect costumes

  • most dance groups have only one set of costumes and therefore when they perform different dances from all over, they don't have all the costumes to go with it...

  • yes i c

  • yah i was in a dance group that was kinda like that but ours was more like every one [almost every one] was wearing a diffrent costume so i understand where is this from

  • plus it costs a lot of money to buy new sets of costumes... we've had our cappadokia costumes for over 10 yrs in perfect condition and they were $500 a piece.. and we have 16 of them..

  • yah i understand..

  • Love this Syrto and beautiful costumes too! Yasoo!

  • yia sou malaka klevis...esy klevis ferneis narkotika kai skotoneis...shud up stupid albo toilet cleaner....

  • yes the music is from cyprus and its name FESLIKAN. And if you really want to have enjoy and watch a cyprus traditional folkdancing you have to watch Turkish Cypriots while they are dancing...

  • The music is Cypriot but the costume is Greek.
