Finally- I am a HUGE avaition lover and it's always bothered me how things run on petrol- based gas. People- were going to run out sometime and our dependancy on foreign oil is rediculous.
So now we can have a fun time flying knowing that the stuff powering your plane is renewable and clean burning!
@cheng4PM all of it. the point is that that fuel was grown from carbon already in the atmosphere instead of releasing carbon stored undergorund in oil. Hence, overall it's a carbon neutral process

slightly less than all off it the algae needs some carbon for its metabolic processes which is not converted to oil.
