There is no official stylus for this device, you will probably need to one used on the Viewty as it has a ring to hook it onto the side of your KF600.

I was thinking about buying an new cellphone since my old Sony Ericsson K750i was washed in the washing machine... (unfortunately - I loved this phone)

When I started thinking about what phone to get, it was important to me, that it would do the basic things as texting and calling and that it was under a 150€. And I wanted a touchscreen. I was thinking about the KF600, the KF510. Then I heard a lot of people complaining about the touch screen that would stop working after a while.

The KF600 is a tri-band handset and will support GSM 900/1800/1900. 1900 is a US frequency.

However in the US this handset is called Venus and it supports all US frequencies - CDMA/GSM 800/1900.

This means in certain locations you will not pick up signal if you buy the KF600 which is the European version. US service providers & networks use both frequencies 800/1900.

We think you should be able to get a stylus from most online store's or PDA shops for cheap these days. Try and get on that can loop on to your mobile some way as there is no slot for the stylus.

To get the balls in the background change your theme. In the UK we have quite a few themes pre-installed. Usually this is found in the following way:

Menu > 9. Settings > 3. Screen > 5. Theme > 1. Black

Being honest there really is no difference and it will come down to preference on styling.

If we look at a few things weight wise its slightly ligther at 91grams, the screen is 2.2 inches rather than 2 inches on the KF600, the KF510 supports MP4 video/music format.

Internal memory is slighting better on the KF600 at 25MB rather than 16MB.

When in text message mode you can write on the interactpad at the bottom (lower screen). To do this just go into Menu > 1. Messaging > 1. New Message > 1. Text > Sub Menu key (top left) > 5. Handwriting

The LG Dare is pretty cool from what we have heard but still needs some improvments. The Voyager and Glyde are pretty well matched although the camera tehnology is better on the Voyager than the Glyde.

Glyde gives you much more customization meaining more user friendly :)

Texting is easier on the Glyde and Voyager :)

We must admit we had a soft spot for the Z8 but when using the functionality it just didn't click with us. The main issue was watching movies because you'll need to install a few codecs to get it working. You also mentioned camera quality sorry not so much here as it boasts a 2mega pixel camera with no autofocus and picture quality is ok for a mid ranged mobile. Texting is a matter of preference and we weren't totally sold - sorry moto we ....

The LG KE970 aka Shine is a beatuiful handset but it woun't give you the excellent picture quality that you are looking for.

We realy think the Nokia 5610 could be the one for you as the handset really brings music functionality to life an the camera is not too bad if you can see past the vga 15fps video recording and led light for a flash.

Yes the handset has the ability to work in the US using the 1900Mhz frequency. However we feel you should check with your operator as some networks in the US use 800Mhz frequency for some areas and the UK variant will not support that frequency meaning no reception in those areas.

Alternatively look for the US variant called Venus.

Well we don't think you'll be too impressed by the Samsung U700 the others have a little more on it.

The U900 Soul's picture quality is good we are not so sure on the video recording quality. But everything is else is pretty good on this handset.

If you are looking for GPS well this is pretty limited although you do have the Nokia N95, Samsung i900 now - check this one out - pretty good :)

The KF600 has an MP3 player with the ability to add playlists. We think that if music is a big must then maybe the SE W580 is a better proposition as it offers more music functionality including the shake feature to change tracks, better music filing and searching.

Overall we would say that if you are looking for a music phone then out of these 2 handsets the SE W580 is a much better proposition - functionality is better in terms of music filing, categorising and much more. Now to change the vibration level go to (4) InteractPad & Vibration level

We like the overall appeal of the handset, sleek and nicely designed and we felt that the interact pad work well with us. The reaction time to our presses worked well and plus you can calibrate the interactpad - teach the handset how you touch the interact pad.

Music wise it is pretty basic and maybe some other features could have been added but it a mobile phone that performs quite well.

You'll be fine the touch pad is protected by toughend glass. Plus you don't need to press hard on the screen as it picks the pen up quite well.

This handset is called the KF600 or some may call it by it's code name Venus.

The LG Viewty is another handset which we have done tutorials for also known as the LG KU990.

No QWERTY keyboard as only the bottom screen is touch and wouldn't be user friendly to put a QWERTY keyboard on a screen size of 1.5".

It has 2 methods of input - slide out keypad and hand writing recognition.

We will make a video on how to record however there is no editing suite on the handset. For this we would recommend the LG Viewty (KU990) or the LG KF700 - a new handset coming out soon.
