If ther is no sound after u listen to it then here's the solution if u press the little arrow pointing down it give u stuff and if u look at the top it will say "none" and "built in input mic" then click on it. :)

i have some questions. first be fore i start i have been using ScreenFlow since i started doing videos. but now my computer HAS to restart when i click stop recording. now i have NEVER liked QuickTime as a recorder. so 1. can it have game audio and Mic audio? 2. are the file size's large or small. 3. is it easy to use? and 4. is there anything bad about it? i hope you can answer my questions i would very much like to continue doing videos on youtube.

The problem with using Quicktime to record your screen is that your video will not come with audio, you will have to make a separate audio recording for that. If you want video with corresponding audio, you will have to download an application. I personally use Screeny, but even it does not have audio.

@Flabtato not sure what os ur using, but quicktime certainly does have audio recording in both lion and snow leopard. when you're about to record, look to the left and click the down arrow, then select the mic u want to use.

@THEjustifiedGANGSTER it depends on if you have an internal mic or not if you do just open up the drop down menu and press internal mic my 1 and only video so far is only about quicktime so if ud like to i thought i did ok for my first video except the audio isnt as loud as it should be

Very good tutorial, the only thing i dont like about IShowUHD is when you record it it shows IShowUHD in grey, other than that its a good game recorder.
