For starters, I think what Aaron and Mark actually did is beside the point. It's the fact that they did it behind Ben's back that's not cool. It's the principle of it, if you will.

But the fact that Ben fired them over email??? really????? Come on. That sort of thing demands face to face.

I read in an article that Aaron and Mark deny that they did anything behind his back. So I don't really know what to think here. The whole email thing sort of takes away from Ben's side of things.

I agree that people shouldn't steel music, very annoying though that Dear Agony was only available to buy in the UK (CD or download) well over a year after the US launch, I was very dissapointed in BB for that but they are an amazing band and would love him to defeat his phobia and tour over here, he has so many fans in europe

I buy any bb thing I can get my hands on. I'd love to go to a show if they ever frick'in tour in GR again. But if there is a song or something you normally can't buy from this band especially cover songs, that's where I draw the line. If bb sold all there rare songs I'd buy every one, but they don't so I get them through other means, but I pay it back through buying whatever they sell in stores. Is that a bad thing? because I see it as equivalent exchange...

I think that the way you upload rare Breaking Benjamin songs is wonderful, and I think that it's perfectly awesome that you support the band through purchasing merch and whatever else. Actually, a lot of rock bands that have been interviewed have said that they are thankful to illegal downloading for getting their music out there, and if you ARE buying their merch than you are being a great fan that's doing nothing wrong :)

He fired Aaron and the bassist. Although he had a reason, he needed to think about the fans. I can only say: Glad you are going to continue after this horrible time period. I will still listen to your music and be a loyal fan. I hope you find someone equally as talented as Aaron and the other guy (who's name I can't remember). I can't wait until you make more music. @technoty umm no that was not a mistake. Benjamin Burnley fired the bandmates, guitarist Aaron Fink and bassist Mark Klepaski, via e-mail. Burnley detailed his side of the dispute in a June court filing, saying Fink and Klepaski made unilateral and unauthorized decisions on behalf of the band, including giving permission in May for the new recording and remix of "Blow Me Away" without his consent. Burnley seeks at least $250,000 and the exclusive right to the "Breaking Benjamin" name.
