I need help! I remember playing a demo cd which had this one game where you may choose only 2 characters and they both had powers. The Male had was it ice and the female had flame power ( or was it the other way around) well anyone the point is it was a fighting game where the stage area was large and you used these powers to fight one another. Any clue what the game was called`? :D
Did anyone come here having watched Gamester81's Yaroze video (and others)? Thanks for this upload, this was perhaps the best Yaroze game I ever played.
:o, I haven't thought about this game since playing it. I do however remember it. I didn't like it because I didn't understand it. I was only like 6 at the time though. Now I know what this is.
YES! I've been looking for this game for I don't know how many years now. I used to play this all the time as a kid. This, and "Psychon" which also came with one of those demo discs. I'm gonna find those demo discs one day, I just hope they're not ruined.
Awesome! Thanks a lot for providing the link! I remember playing the demo when I was a kid and I too used to get stuck everytime and never finished it. The music was great and it had the strangest enemies I've ever seen... Maybe now i can get past that part :D
A friend gave me a bunch of these demo CDs in PAL version years ago, they are pretty scratched but still work. I watched him complete Terra Incognita, and I remember the last boss, it was a red dragon who uses his tail to attack.
A friend gave me a bunch of these demo CDs in PAL version years ago, they are pretty scratched but still work. He completed Terra Incognita, but I never did.
I couldn't get past the part where you had to pile two bombs then jump onto a platfor before the bombs explode, that shitty bosun always sailed off without me while I was trying.
this game has as good graphics as final fantasy 7. which is interesting considering that was made by a company. however there are reasons for that, and it was also longer etc. but it just proves how much can be done.
The good thing with PlayStation at that time was that many developers wanted to be creative and no matter what studio you were you could make games for PlayStation because it was cheap and let you to make unlimited software. I missed this creative era when we went to PS2 because that system is so overrated and shit compared to original PlayStation (king of RPGs) and IGN's list of best consoles of all time is a joke. 360 over PlayStation? Are they insane?
It's incredible to see PSone even isn't in the PlayStation Official Website. Net Yaroze was retired (in July 2009 I guess) too, and now there are no ways to create PSX games. Today I was thinking about asking Sony if they could give us any way to create these kind of games in a free or low-cost way in order to enjoy our, at least for me, favourite console. What do you think about it?
@delarge84 Shut the fuck up. Seriously. Get over your nostalgia, most PS1 games were nothing but flawed experiments with 3D. The PS2 perfected it and is therefore the greatest console of all time.
@Mysterious0Bob Most PS2 games are nothing but shovelware cranked out by eastern european dev houses and based on unsuitable IP, but nobody plays those either.
When you finish a dragon, you get a crown (or sth), but in the next part, when you have to go back to your ship, you have to leave that item to have the door opened (there are two "ground buttons" to be pushed and there is only ONE box...)
End of SPOILER!
I beat this game when it was attachted to the OPSM (maaany years ago).
I wish I had that disc - a Resi 2 demo... I fear OPSM2 will go the same way as OPSM1 did, just sticking old demo discs on the cd before eventually stopping. Any plans of doing this for the PS2 discs?
oh I wish I never threw out that old PSM Issue 42 demo disk...I still have the magazine. I used to while away hours playing blitter boy and my personal favourite Psychon! I desperately need to find these on the internet or buy the disk from somewhere, ebay has nothing at the moment
