Nice Job of breaking it down!...and no, this is NOT easy to play with a groove...most lame, mall walking, white-boys will turn the volume UP and play softly...it creates an amateurish, ringing sound filled with overtones.

In Robert.s demo here, he has the volume low and picks and scratches the strings like a maniac...for that moment, it makes the guitar into a DRUM, not primarily a pitch instrument.

fiddle with it, for me if you put it on twang and give it a little reverb, not much gain and pretty high treble

I don't know why but I'm having the hardest time playing 'funky' ... I've been asked to play for the show chior and I can't get the hang of playing songs like geek in the pink. :P I can play classical, jazz, metal, and punk rock. But god forbid I be able to play FUNK.
