  • Wonderful upload ! It's great to see them all having such a good time.

Love to everyone who ever made RL smile : )

  • who knew dave stewart could rip the blues???

  • great piece of history but its a weak performance i think. then again i never really liked this song.

  • man that was great, what a find, thanks for uploading

  • check out duwayne burnside playing the bass!

  • Had this stuck in my head.

    Eurythmics guy got down.

  • I know Dave Stewart produced the movie Deep Blues. Remember I am the one that posted the song? I never called him a "poser" so maybe your comment should have been directed at the person that made that comment.

I may not have as many Dave Stewart songs downloaded as you but I bet I have more RL Burnside songs downloaded than you, and Buddy Guy, BB King, Albert Collins, Joe Bonamassa, young talent like Jimmy Bowskill and Conrad Oberg. I don't need a lesson on blues artists.

  • @000grungehead000 Now that's enough....the stupid people will remain stupid. No lesson need be given you on the genre. I'm sure you can play some good blues yourself. I give Dave credit for going to meet the great R.L.B. and learn. Good vid indeed. It's like good medicine for the soul, ..that blues music is.

  • the "poser" deserves respect

the "poser" produce the movie Deep Blues

that movie show the whole world the talent and the genius of hill country bluesmen like RL Burnside, JR Kimbrough and many others

thats why dave stewart deserves more respect !!!!

  • oh shit !!!

this must be from the time stewart was in hill country mississipi with r. palmer shooting the film deep blues!!!!

    thanks for post this!!

  • Seems he like to play them old T-bone walker licks. Pretty nice tho, Eurythmics had some good tunes.

  • Thanx for the upload! Great!

  • looks like the *poser* got down a wee bit eh?

  • If you're talking about Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics it appears that he did. ;-)

I've never been a fan of the Eurythmics and I haven't listened to much of Dave Stewart's music (with or without the Eurythmics). But I do love the blues and I love this song because of the raw sound and the fact that they are playing at Junior Kimbrough's Juke Joint (which unfortunately burned down at a later date). I think Dave was pretty young and liked the sound RL and Blues Explosion were coming up with.
